| Technology has become an integral part of human life, and "cyberpunk" as a young concept has become one of the most important cultural trends in society, reflecting the profound impact of modern technology on the bodies and minds of people today. While humanity is increasingly aware of the changing relationship between man, nature and technology, the pioneering field of art is to some extent linked to all social disciplines, and technological developments have naturally given rise to forms of expression that integrate art and technology, such as new media art and virtual digital art. This not only expands the possibilities of art,but also means that artistic creation is no longer limited to new technologies and methods.Born from cyberpunk novels and films, cyborgs have now departed from the fantasy of science fiction, and as a popular artistic image and theoretical paradigm in Western contemporary art since the 21st century, they have also attracted attention in China in recent years, with countless works and exhibitions on this theme, but the exploration of their aesthetic theory is still relatively weak. The article analyzes the aesthetic construction and presentation of cyborg images in different cyberpunk films, summarizes the development and evolution of cyborg images in Chinese and Western art, interprets their aesthetic characteristics from the perspectives of body aesthetics, subjectivity, and gender order, and interprets the tragic colors, technological aesthetics, and multicultural interaction of cyborg images in the context of film works. In addition to the aesthetic implications of the cyborgs,we will also explore the social value of the formation of the cyborgs’ "personality"and its impact on human beings.Cyberpunk films contain profound scientific thinking and humanistic concerns, while the image of Cyborg complements the cultural and aesthetic connotations of cyberpunk films and is a means to convey aesthetic thinking through media. |
