| Naturally,in Alai’s work, there is a very important dimension besides people.Nature does not exist as a background, but as an equal existence with human beings. The rich physical aesthetic and strong sense of life in Alai’s novels stem from a "continuous worldview".This "continuous worldview" is particularly prominent in "Notes in the Clouds",which is based on earthquakes. As the core concept of "Notes in the Clouds","continuous world view" affects how the author, the text narrator, and the characters in the story understand the disaster, grasp the disaster and deal with it.This paper aims to clarify the relationship between the "continuous worldview" and the disaster writing of "Notes in the Clouds" : through the presentation of disasters from the perspective of "continuous worldview",the cognition of disasters under the idea of "Dahua",the relief of disasters by objects and rituals, the reflection on disasters in the theme of the novel "Return",and the aesthetic significance of disasters in Alai tragedies,to explain the uniqueness of disaster writing in "Notes in the Clouds".This paper first defines the concept of "continuous worldview",and then discusses the formation mechanism of Alai’s "continuous worldview".It also summarizes the overall characteristics of the "continuous world view" presented in the text: that is,the communication between man and nature, man and ancestors, and man and ghosts and gods. Then,it specifically analyzes the conflict and disaster between man and nature under the "continuous world view" : grasp the disaster from the different trends of natural will and human will, reflect on the historical victory writing under the strong will of human beings, and return to the "great transformation" to re-interpret the disaster. On this basis, from the perspective of disaster folklore, this paper specifically discusses the relief of disasters by objects and rituals under the "continuous worldview"."Return" is an important theme of the novel, which explores the complexity and profundity of Alai’s thought through the dual "return" of the plot level and the spiritual level.Taking disasters as an opportunity for reflection,"Notes in the Clouds" attempts a literary construction from the height of human civilization. His ideal utopia is the place where Abba always wants to "return",and he seeks the kind of life freedom in which all things return to themselves; But at the same time,he is opposed to a complete return to "Dahua",after all,it is easy to return to the past, but it is difficult to go to the future. After the "Wenchuan" earthquake in 2008,there was a boom in disaster literary creation."Tales in the Clouds" provides a new aesthetic inspiration for disaster writing with Alai-style tragedy. The "continuous worldview" and "Dahua thought" influence Alai’s disaster interpretation and aesthetic construction. In the "great transformation",life and death are continuous and unified, which dilutes the pathos of the disaster.Realize the fullness of life;Looking at the overall fate of human beings from the totality of the nature of the universe is an important revelation for the aesthetic construction of disaster in "Notes in the Clouds".With the help of the linguistic tonality of Jiarong language and classical Chinese poetry,Ah Lai "escorted his protagonist all the way up along an aesthetic road opened up by words",completing a unique aesthetic construction of disaster. However,Alai’s quest for human civilization is still incomplete, and what "Tale in the Clouds" gives is only a "fairy tale" with symbolic meaning, which is full of difficult questions. How to complete this proposition of the process of human civilization,Alai has not been able to give an answer. But the attempts and efforts of this construction are worthy of respect, and also reflect the responsibility and responsibility of literature. |
