As early as the 1980 s,the field of teaching Chinese as a foreign language realized the importance of cultural teaching,and the research on cultural teaching has been carried out accordingly.So far,it has gone through more than 40 years.Although cultural words and even physical cultural words are an essential part of cultural teaching,the academic research on cultural words is relatively slow,and there are few studies on a certain kind of cultural words.This paper attempts to combine the meme theory with the teaching of physical cultural words in teaching Chinese as a foreign language by combining the relevant theories of meme replication and transmission process and meme types in meme theory.Through an analysis of state in three sets of teaching Chinese culture words choreography and two common corpus of learners to the words of state cultural acquisition,analysis of state cultural words memes type,and combining the memes copy propagation process of state culture words teaching method is proposed,in order to achieve better teaching effect.The thesis is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction.Firstly,the object of this paper is determined--physical cultural words.Then,the memetics theory and the research status of physical cultural words are sorted out,and finally,the research purpose,ideas,research methods and data sources of this paper are explained.In chapter two,we define,classify and count the physical cultural words based on memetics.Based on the classification of cultural words by predecessors,the author further divides physical cultural words into eight categories.The arrangement of physical cultural words in three sets of textbooks is statistically analyzed.Finally,the paper analyzes the cultural words of physical state in the teaching materials by combining the types and characteristics of memes.The third chapter analyzes the cultural words of physical state based on the theory of meme.Firstly,the relationship between memes and language memes is discussed,and the process of copying and spreading of memes corresponds to the process of second language acquisition,illustrating the applicability of memetics in the field of TEACHING Chinese as a second language.Then on the basis of the characteristics and types of memes,corresponding analysis is made on the material-state cultural words in textbooks.Chapter four analyzes the teaching status of physical cultural words.In terms of the current situation of teaching materials,the paper analyzes the arrangement and quantity of physical cultural words in the three sets of teaching materials as well as the coincidence rate with the "new HSK Vocabulary Outline".In terms of teaching status,the author interviewed volunteers of Overseas Chinese teachers and Chinese teachers as a foreign language in colleges and universities to understand the status quo of physical cultural words in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Finally,combined with the use of MCIF in HSK dynamic composition corpus and global Chinese interlanguage corpus,this paper further analyzes the learning status of MCIF.Based on the third chapter and data analysis,the fifth chapter gives suggestions on textbook compilation,teaching strategies and foreign students’ learning for the teaching of physical cultural words.
