The Research Of Nalanxingde’s Parallel Prose

Nalan Xingde is a famous Manchu scholar in the early Qing Dynasty,his literary achievements in addition to poetry,parallel prose is not to be underestimated,achievements are also more prominent,not only has a unique position in the history of Pian Wen in the Qing Dynasty,but also has his place in the history of the development of ancient Chinese parallel prose.This thesis consists of the introduction part and four chapters.The introduction first introduces the research status of the parallel prose of Nallanxingde: After careful investigation and analysis,the academic achievements of the current research on Nallanxingde are rich,but one is focused on the study of its ci,the other is focused on its poetics;It is a great pity that few people pay attention to the aspect of the parallel prose of Nalan Xingde.As a whole,it is very cold and clear,lacking of systematic and comprehensive research.Secondly,it introduces the version of the German collection of Nalan nature and its spreading status.Finally,it points out the value and significance of the study of the pian prose of Nalan: On the one hand,the in-depth study of the pian prose of Nalan is helpful to understand the overall situation of the literary creation and promote the deepening of the study.On the other hand,it can fill the blank of the study of parallel prose in Qing Dynasty.The first chapter mainly introduces the background environment of Nalan’s prose creation.The parallel prose was gradually revived in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties and the Qing government adopted the soft and hard cultural policy towards Han scholars.The direct and indirect influences of Chen Zilong and Chen Weisong on Nalan Xingde are favorable conditions for his outstanding achievement of parallel prose writing.The second chapter expounds Naland’s literary theory,mainly analyzes his three articles on literary theory,namely "Treatise on Fu","Yuan Shi" and "Lushuiting Zashi",focusing on introducing his viewpoint of writing parallel prose and revealing his unique view of pian prose.The third chapter classifies and studies the pian prose of Nallan Xingde,divides it into prose,preface and postscript,Shuhua,and other prose styles because of the small quantity.By comparing it with other writers’ prose of the same type,it highlights the individuality of the writing of the parallel prose by Nalan Xingde.The fourth chapter analyzes the creation method of the pian prose according to the four elements of the pian prose and summarizes its artistic characteristics.The final part is the summary,from the development of Pian Wen history in the Qing Dynasty to evaluate the position of Nalan Xingde writing and its influence on the Pian wen literary world.In general,although it is not as great as his contribution to ci,it occupies an important position in the development of the parallel prose of Qing Dynasty.
