As one of the most famous political ideologues of the 20 th century,Arendt’s important research topic in his life was truth and politics, and there was a crucial tension between the existence of man as thought and his existence.Arendt’s construction of ideas can be traced back to the ancient Greek philosophers, and philosophy, especially political philosophy, should be the object of "surprise" of human beings, allowing politics to play an active role, and bringing enlightenment to the political field in the way of thinking and judgment. This article is divided into three parts. The first part introduces the origin of the conflict between truth and politics, centered around the three sages of ancient Greece.Socrates cared about citizens’ own thinking and hoped that they would rely on the power of their souls to achieve happiness. However,as the first person to "go out of the cave" and rescue their fellow countrymen, they were sent to the execution ground by their fellow countrymen. This was extremely touching for Plato, and the relationship between philosophy and politics became more prominent and sharp here.Arendt values this emphasis on contemplation, but she is closer to Aristotle.Ideas and reality are inherently intertwined, and more importantly,Aristotle believes in the abilities of most people and believes that only as a part of political society can one live a happy life.Arendt is the embodiment of both. The second part is about Arendt’s political ontology, which includes human thinking and judgment, human actions, and returning to the relationship between truth and politics. Our focus on thinking and judgment first falls on expansive thinking and impartial judgment.Kant’s discovery of a new faculty of judgment is seen by Arendt as a unique force because it has great potential and creativity for politics, which corresponds to the uniqueness of politics.Secondly, action is the core of politics, and the foundation of human action lies in its plural nature, which also carries both danger and relevance.Action is related to everyone but does not end for anyone. The premise of political action is to respect the truth of the facts on which we rely for judgment, only in this way can plural opinions unleash their potential in the political field. The third part discusses the crisis of modernity realistically.Misunderstanding the nature of politics has also damaged the original meaning of the political field. The power originally born in the middle of people has also been corrupted.totalitarianism has changed people and the world. The plural people have evolved into "singular people",and action has become redundant.Regarding labor, violence, and freedom,Arendt and Marx’s views are intertwined between consistency and relativity, and her long-term exploration of Marxist thought has also played an important role.Arendt’s ultimate vision of politics is more or less closely related to her unfinished "judgments".Her "unfinished political philosophy" still depends on people, whether actions are beneficial to the world, and people need to take political responsibility for actions,so that the plural can coexist and understand the world better.
