With the development of the times,technological progress,and the promotion of a favorable market environment,the scale of short and medium video users on mainstream self media platforms is gradually expanding.Original animated short videos,as an important component of the short video industry chain,are mainly aimed at young audiences in mainstream self media platforms and are gradually developing towards full age.Compared with animation in traditional platforms,original animation short videos rely on the communication advantages of mainstream We Media platforms,namely,low threshold creation,convenient release,interactive mode and diversified presentation,which are perfectly suitable for people’s fast-paced life and meet the public’s fragmentation reading style.However,the convenience brought by mainstream self media platforms also faces the problem of uneven quality.Through the study of a large number of actual cases and related theoretical research,this paper finds that people in the fragmentation era have increasingly high requirements for original short animation videos,and need to better meet people’s aesthetic needs through high-quality content,exquisite pictures,and sophisticated production.The content of successful animated short videos mostly relies on innovative construction,experimental exploration of narrative,interesting exploration of form,personalized design of images,and creation of immersion in sound to improve the creative quality,meet the aesthetic,entertainment,and cultural needs of the audience,increase the competitiveness of animated short videos in mainstream self media platforms,further promote the development of the animation industry,and ultimately form the advantage of cultural dissemination.The original animated short video "Campus Life" in the graduation project showcases a personalized image,enhances visual impact through diverse camera angles,expresses psychological rhythms through music and sound effects,and reflects several trivial matters of campus life in a series form.Through a relaxed and enjoyable way,it resonates with people,triggers thinking,and further enhances the dissemination value of animated short videos,thereby increasing the depth of their content.
