A Study On The Meaning Of The Greek & Hebrew Culture And The Western Musicogenesis

The Greek and Hebrew culture are two important sources of the origin of Western culture.This is where the theoretical thoughts and systems of Western culture are constructed.As the embodiment of the most primitive thought form of a nation,mythology is the expression of ancient people’s reverence and worship of nature,and the beginning of a nation’s education in civilization.The development of the religious form of the Hebrew people reflects the formation of human worship consciousness,and the rise of monotheism,represented by Christianity,became an important part of Western culture.Thus,while shaping human civilization,the Greek and Hebrew culture have experienced the collision and integration of various cultures,from mutual resistance to the ultimate penetration of all areas of Western culture.Reviewing the development of Western music,the Greek and Hebrew culture have assumed the dual identity of “gene” and “soil”.The “gene” guides the growth of Western music and determines the specific form of music growth,while the “soil”provides a nurturing environment for the development of Western music,and a suitable environment is a prerequisite for the growth of Western music.This article takes the Greek and Hebrew culture as the path of exploration,reviews the historical process of Western music development from the perspective of phylogenetics,and discusses musical phenomena in the context of cultural origins,so with this view to explore the historical significance of the Greek and Hebrew culture and the phylogenetics of Western music.The article is divided into three parts: the first part explores the underlying logic of the Greek and Hebrew culture and the Western musicogenesis,analyzes how the specific spirit of the Greek and Hebrew culture is related to the development of Western music.The second chapter analyzes the ontogenesis of two cultures and Western music,traces the roots of the phenomenon of Western music noumenon in terms of both musical subject matter and musical genre.The third chapter analyzes the subjective practices of the two cultures and Western musicogenesis,and examines the subjective compositions of composers,exploring the specific influence of cultural roots on composers.
