| In the Western Zhou Dynasty, the clan prevailed.Ethnopolitics constitutes an important part of the political development of the Western Zhou Dynasty.Among them, the Ji clan,as the largest number and the most influential clan group of the dynasty, undoubtedly occupies an important position in the political system of the Western Zhou dynasty. As an important Ji surname clan of the small clan of the Xing State outside the capital, the Jing family in the capital cannot be ignored. The clan is one of the three major clans since the middle of the Western Zhou Dynasty. After nearly a hundred years of operation, the clan gradually occupied the core of the power of the Western Zhou Dynasty and its status was prominent. In this paper,by combing the bronze inscriptions and unearthed documents and handed down documents, and supplemented by the corresponding archaeological data,a systematic study of the Jing clan in the Western Zhou Dynasty was made. This article is divided into three chapters :The first chapter is to discuss the origin and lineage of the Jing family. This paper holds that the Jing family belongs to the surname of Ji and is the descendant of Duke Zhou. The Jing clan in Jinei is divided into Jingbo,Jingshu,Jingji and other branches. This paper sorts out the lineages of these Jing ’s branches respectively, and obtains a more complete lineage continuation of the Jing ’s clan. The second chapter studies the official, marriage and residence of the Jing family.During the Mugong period,Jing ’s long-term monopoly of Sima position, high power. This paper argues that as a Sima,in addition to undertaking military and political affairs, the Jing family also bears the responsibility of handling civil litigation and selecting talents for the Zhou royal family. The marriage of the Jing family has a wide range, including foreign nationalities, foreign princes and Western Zhou aristocratic families. In addition to its own subjective will, its clan marriage may also be related to the political considerations of the Zhou king.According to the investigation, the majority of the residence of the Jing family may be in Fufeng County,Shaanxi Province. The fields of the Jing family were different from the settlements, scattered throughout the capital. The third chapter is based on the first two parts, combined with the law of the world official system and the growth and decline of the political power of the Zhou royal family to make a deep analysis of the rise and fall of the Jing family.Through the aristocratic identity and his own talent after the Duke of Zhou, the family successfully passed the dynasty ’s official selection system and became a member of the world official system. The political changes during the reign of King Mu caused the decline of many clans that existed since the beginning of the Zhou Dynasty, and the emerging clan Jing ushered in a period of great development. However, with the decline of the royal power in the late Western Zhou Dynasty and the rapid expansion of the Jing ’s own power, the King of Zhou could not tolerate the challenge of the king’s authority, and the Jing ’s stood opposite to the royal power. In the ’ national uprising’ and the subsequent political struggle, the well family was defeated and the clan was destroyed. |
