The quiet and comfortable,natural and poetic seclusion ideology of Suzhou gardens meets the spiritual and emotional needs of people in today’s fast-paced life to pursue a sense of quality and yearn for freedom of personality.It has been liked and respected by contemporary people,and has had an impact on people’s behavior,ideology,and aesthetics,reflecting important social values.In addition,the seclusion thought of Suzhou gardens has rich artistic expression content and exhibits unique aesthetic characteristics.Under the era background of promoting traditional culture,it has been favored by many contemporary design creators,and has been widely used in various contemporary design fields such as clothing and architecture,providing unlimited artistic inspiration for design,with the feasibility of applying contemporary design.With the help of the expression content of the seclusion thought of Suzhou gardens,the clothing brand is shaped,and a clothing brand with the connotation of the seclusion thought of Suzhou gardens is created,thereby forming aesthetic identity and emotional resonance with consumers.This article first analyzes the connotation and performance characteristics of seclusion thought in Suzhou gardens,and obtains three types of seclusion thought in Suzhou gardens: seclusion and enlightenment,seclusion and pleasure,and seclusion and ambition.By analyzing the expression of "scenery" and "artistic conception" in Suzhou gardens,it is concluded that the seclusion thought of Suzhou gardens displays humanistic temperament and feelings,and from which two dimensions of expression,namely,"material interest" and "emotional interest",are extracted.Among them,"material interest" is the expression that "scenery" displays humanistic temperament,and "emotional interest" is the expression that "artistic conception" conveys humanistic feelings.Secondly,from a creative perspective,explore the composition of "material interest" and "emotional interest",as well as the constitutive relationship between them and the seclusion thought of Suzhou gardens,and construct a creative modeling model and path for the seclusion thought of Suzhou gardens,namely,"scenery creation,image creation.".Then,based on the creative modeling model of "scenery creation,image creation",the creative modeling path of clothing brand is established.Namely,using brand products and scenes as design carriers,reconstructing brand scenes from the perspective of "scenery",and then "creating" brand products from the perspective of "material interest" and "emotional interest" for design transformation,combining with the analysis of multi-dimensional expression of clothing brand modeling,summarizing the expression methods of clothing brand design after the transformation of "material interest" and "emotional interest" from the perspective of visual image,experience atmosphere,and narrative communication.Finally,taking the original clothing brand Missy ice as an example,we conducted a clothing brand shaping design practice under the influence of the seclusion idea of Suzhou gardens,to verify the feasibility of the design path and methods.This article explores the design path and method of clothing brand building based on the reclusive thought of Suzhou gardens from the perspective of the expression and composition of "material interest" and "emotional interest" under the reclusive thought of Suzhou gardens,so as to make the clothing brand possess the reclusive humanistic temperament characteristics of Suzhou gardens,express the reclusive humanistic feelings of Suzhou gardens,and thus reproduce the implicit ideological connotation of Suzhou gardens.Let the seclusion idea of Suzhou gardens be better applied and widely disseminated at present,with the value of cultural inheritance,and provide rich creative inspiration and design thinking direction for the creation of local clothing brands’ originality,enhance the brand’s aesthetic style and cultural connotation,and achieve cultural empowerment of modern clothing brands.
