Mathematical inverse quotient is one of the important factors affecting mathematics performance.However,how mathematical inverse quotient,mathematics anxiety and positive psychological capital affect mathematics performance needs to be further studied.In this study,the effect of the mathematical inverse quotient as the independent variable,the mathematical anxiety as the outcome variable,and the positive psychological capital as the adjustment variable of the mathematical inverse quotient on the mathematical performance of junior high school students was analyzed.Using the questionnaire survey method,866 junior high school students in Zhumadian,Henan Province were measured.Statistical methods such as reliability analysis and correlation analysis were used to explore the relationship between mathematical inverse quotient,mathematical anxiety,positive psychological capital and math performance of junior high school students.The results found that:(1)Mathematics inverse quotient among junior high school students varies significantly in family relations,parents and teacher support.Mathematics anxiety and positive psychological capital varied significantly in gender,family relationships,and parent and teacher support.Mathematics performance varies significantly in grade,family relationship and teacher support;(2)Mathematics inverse quotient,mathematical anxiety,positive psychological capital and mathematics performance;mathematical anxiety and mathematics inverse quotient,mathematics performance and positive psychological capital;mathematics inverse quotient and mathematics performance and positive psychological capital respectively;(3)Mathematical anxiety has a negative prediction effect on mathematical inverse quotient and mathematical performance,and plays a complete intermediary role between mathematical inverse quotient and mathematical performance,and mathematical inverse quotient has a positive prediction effect on mathematical performance;(4)The effect of mathematical inverse quotient on mathematical anxiety will be adjusted by positive psychological capital.When the positive psychological capital increases,the influence of mathematical inverse quotient on mathematical anxiety will decrease,and otherwise increase;(5)Positive psychological capital of junior high school students can be used as the adjustment variable of the intermediary path of mathematics reverse quotient,mathematics anxiety and mathematics performance,which affects the first half of the path of the model,and positive psychological capital can positively affect mathematical performance and constitute an adjusted intermediary model.The above results suggest that the mathematics reverse quotient is an important variable affecting the mathematics performance of junior high school students,and with the increase of mathematics reverse quotient,the mathematics learning performance of students increases.
