Gilles Deleuze(1924-1995)was a famous French postmodern philosopher and post-Marxist.His thoughts covered metaphysics, art, literature, film, politics and other fields, creating many new philosophical concepts such as difference, virtuality, rhizome, and pre-experiential field. Therefore,he is also known as the master of creating concepts.Like many other philosophers in the 20th century,Deleuze also aimed his criticism at modern subjectivity philosophy and modern subjects. What distinguishes Deleuze from other philosophers is that he was not satisfied with simply deconstructing the modern subject but also attempted to establish a new subject of diversity and creativity on the basis of deconstruction. The first part of this paper will give an overview of modern subjectivity philosophy, sort out the history of the development of modern subjectivity philosophy, explain the dilemma faced by modern subjectivity philosophy, and point out the shortcomings of other philosophers’ criticisms of modern subjectivity philosophy, highlighting the innovation of Deleuze’s criticism. The second part will sort out how Deleuze criticizes and transcends modern subjectivity philosophy from the perspectives of ontology and epistemology and briefly introduce Deleuze’s philosophy of difference and pre-experiential empiricism. Finally, this paper will attempt to find new ideas for solving the subject problem from Deleuze’s philosophy and a new perspective on Marx’s philosophy. In Deleuze’s view, the thought experiment in the field of philosophy in this era is still continuing. The deconstruction of the subject is no longer the main task of philosophy. The new task of philosophers is to re-establish a new subject of diversity and creativity on the basis of deconstruction.Deleuze has shown us well the possibility of construction on the basis of deconstruction.
