Paul Klee is regarded as one of the most important artists of German abstract expressionism.His work is full of varied styles and confusing art world,and Paul Klee himself is regarded as one of the most talented artists.Such rich imagination and original vision make Paul Klee a rather complicated artist to interpret,and his paintings are filled with a large number of dazzling visual art elements.His thoughts always go back and forth between imagination and reality,concrete and abstract,which is difficult to capture.The world he paints is often composed of colors,graphics and symbolic elements,and he keenly observes another aspect of the world from his childlike imagination.The great vitality in Paul Klee’s works is mainly due to his thinking on the origin of existence.Heidegger appreciated the attention to the meaning of self-existence in Paul Klee’s works of art,and gave him philosophical recognition.Heidegger believed that artistic creation arouses people’s reflection on the true state of life through the form of visual language.This paper mainly discusses this problem from three parts: the first part discusses the source of mystery and the development process of art mystery,and examines the origin of Paul Klee’s art mystery creation.The second part discusses the concrete manifestation of the mysterious representation of Paul Klee’s art,including the mysterious representation of color,the mysterious representation of graphics and the mysterious representation of symbolic elements.With the increasing abstractness of the three art forms,Paul Klee carried out intuitive thinking through the three art forms,and continuously explored the higher level of visual abstractness,realizing the transformation of art’s concretion and abstraction.The third part of the thesis is divided into three chapters,namely,from the poetic thinking to the relation between the origin and mystery of existence,and then to the understanding of the reality effect of the origin of existence on people’s spiritual life in modern society.For contemporary human spiritual life and social development,the mysterious artistic works of Paul Klee’s artistic exploration can give contemporary people continuous reflection inspiration.First,Paul Klee’s works arouse people’s exploration of the origin of existence,people can grasp their own destiny based on the understanding of the mystery of art dwelling in the origin of existence has great significance.The original search impulse is the basis for people to establish the meaning of their own existence.Second,Paul Klee’s poetic artistic creation opened up the unique expression of color,form and space,which was inherited by the subsequent Dadaism and Surrealism.Therefore,he created the tradition of abstract expressionism,which is opposed to realism,and has a unique existence in the history of art development.Third,in the face of Hitler’s terrorist political environment,German people generally have a sense of psychological disorder.As a German painter of Swiss origin,Paul Klee’s "New Angel" series also provides the spirit of the German people with soul saving comfort,so that people’s fear of war can be relieved.
