Research On Piano Performance Techniques In The 20^th Century

This paper takes George Ligeti`s early piano solo "Musica Ricercata" as the research object,mainly from the perspective of performance.The article is divided into three parts.The first part introduces the composer’s life,composition stages and the basic information of " Musica Ricercata".The second part classifies eleven pieces of " Musica Ricercata" based on the type of music,and analyzes the works one by one,focusing on the structure of the music and the pitch material of the music content,so as to lay the necessary theoretical foundation for performance.In the third part,combining the theoretical analysis and practice process,the difficulties and key points in performance are divided into three categories,namely rhythm,playing marks and touch keys,pedals,and the work is studied.Through the above part of the study,the author not only has a certain understanding of Ligeti’s piano,but also summarizes some ideas for playing modern piano works in the 20 th century at the conclusion.I hope that this thesis can help students who study " Musica Ricercata" and broaden their thinking of playing and appreciating modern piano works in the 20 th century.
