A Study On Zhao State Northern Great Wall During The Warring States

Since the Warring States period,nomadic tribes and the Central Plains regime in the northern frontier zone of increasingly close exchanges,including both mutual conquest,but also ethnic integration,in order to maintain the stability of the northern frontier,the border of Hu between Qin,Zhao,Yan and other Central Plains vassal states in the northern side of the Great Wall for the defense of fortifications,including Zhao from the initial commitment to participate in the Central Plains hegemony,and later by king Wu Ling of Zhao to implement the reform of Hu clothing and riding,will be a strategy for the development of the country to operate the northern frontier,and open up new territory of the Hu’s land for thousands of miles and build a thousand miles of the North Great Wall under the Yin Mountains,which was stretched for thousands of miles.This paper examines the historical trajectory of Zhao’s expansion from the Central Plains to the northwest under the leadership of King Wu Ling of Zhao,and explores the deeper reasons for Zhao’s strength and the far-reaching historical influence of the Great Wall.First,we explore the historical trajectory of the rise and expansion of the state of Zhao,mainly through the use of historical sources,in which King Wu Ling’s innovation of a strong state brought its territory to its peak.This reform,which began with the "Hu’s costume" and ended with the "horsemanship" and the expansion of thousands of miles of land,should be regarded as the main background for the construction of the Northern Great Wall of Zhao.At the same time,through the analysis of documentary and historical records,the historical process of Zhao’s military strength achieved through the Hu’s clothing and skill of horse-riding,and the strategy of advancing northward,eventually expanding the land by a thousand miles and enabling the construction of the Northern Great Wall of Zhao is discussed.Second,the geographical location and endpoints of the Northern Great Wall of Zhao and other defensive facilities along the Great Wall are explored in conjunction with the historical sources and the Great Wall resource survey report.The geographical distribution of the Northern Great Wall of Zhao,the differences between the starting point "Dai" and the ending point "Gaoque",and the construction characteristics and distribution pattern of the defense facilities of the Northern Great Wall of Zhao,including the barricades,beacons,and border counties,are analyzed to form a clearer and more accurate understanding of the Northern Great Wall of Zhao,The purpose is to form a clearer and more accurate understanding of the Northern Great Wall of Zhao.Finally,the historical facts about the economic and cultural development of the area around the Great Wall and the mutual appreciation and integration of ethnic groups will be explored to explore the important historical role of the Great Wall.The Great Wall was used by the Qin and Han dynasties and had a profound impact on the history of the Great Wall of China.
