Design Research On Contemporary Women’s Aesthetic Consciousness In The Creation Of Nixing Pottery

With the rapid development of China’s economic level,people’s standard of living continues to rise.With the security of living,people begin to pursue spiritual satisfaction and see crafts and artworks as a vehicle to enrich their spiritual world.With the trend toward diversification of design,the ideology of female aesthetics in particular has been liberated,and feminine aesthetics are used in different areas of design.The delicate and resolute,soft and powerful,beautiful and passionate nature of women’s expression is fused into the creation of the National Heritage Nixing pottery as a design language symbol to convey female aesthetic consciousness.As one of the four famous potteries in China,the Nixing pottery originated in Qinzhou,Guangxi,has a profound cultural heritage and a long history,and is a national intangible cultural heritage.In recent years,pottery has been created in a single form,and the design innovation is relatively blank,with no fundamental breakthrough in design subject matter and no corresponding female aesthetic art in design expression.This project integrates contemporary female aesthetics into the design context of the pottery,using field research and comparative analysis,and uses the subject of female aesthetic consciousness as an innovative design medium,gaining insight into the charm of female aesthetics as opposed to male aesthetics,and expressing the attainable artistic features of the pottery through female aesthetics.There is currently little research into female aesthetics as a separate subject in the field of gaining pottery creation,exploring such gender-defined aesthetic consciousness for gaining pottery design research and analyzing the inherent commonalities between pottery and women.The study also explores the forms in which women’s aesthetic creativity can be expressed and the different dimensions of aesthetic identity that can be drawn upon to create innovative designs that give more original forms and modern aesthetics to the design of the pottery,which can then be presented as a work of art.To enhance the symbolic identity of the aesthetic characteristics of the nixing pottery,break through stereotypes and promote the continuous innovation and development of the nixing pottery industry.This paper is based on the design of the pottery,with the contemporary female aesthetic consciousness as the design theme,and explores the possibilities of the design of the pottery from three main perspectives: material,shape,and design,to find design elements that meet the contemporary female aesthetic.The aim is to identify design elements that are in line with contemporary women’s aesthetics and to achieve a high degree of unity between shape and product.It is hoped that this series of works on contemporary female aesthetic consciousness in the creation of Nixing pottery will provide some new ideas and directions for the creation of Nixing pottery products and contribute to the field of Nixing pottery art creation.
