Research On The Creation Of "Child’s Dream" Series Of Mixed Media Paintings

Visual art refers to a comprehensive art language expression that conveys inner feelings through the visual senses,and the diversity of its art forms covers painting,sculpture,architecture,installation,and new media art.The development of technology and materials since the 20 th century has made "integrated materials" the most important fulcrum of visual art,and its charm lies in the fact that it has broken the traditional visual aesthetic habits of human painting.From the Cubist period to Postmodernism,artists’ continuous experimentation with materials has gradually moved them from the subordinate position of painting to the main position,and the forward-looking nature of the means of expression of mixed media art,whether it is physical objects and collage,original expressions or mixed creations,has made visual art more strongly presented.Thus,this study will take "material" as the basic clue to explore the various ways and means of material intervention in painting,and implement them into one’s own artistic practice.This research is based on the author’s own "childhood experience".The lack of companionship during the process of growing up has led to the author’s longing for warmth and stability in adulthood,so in the visual presentation,the author will use materials such as dolls,felts,sequins,silk fabrics and wool balls to convey the sense of care under maternal emotions,and to portray the inner world by tracing the warm maternal In the creation,the author will follow certain creative illustrations and combine with corresponding symbolic materials to explore the connection between the self in childhood experience and the medium of creation.
