The COVID-19 outbreak in 2020 has had an impact on many industries. It also had an impact on the teaching internship of Chinese international education majors. In order to effectively prevent and control the epidemic, the number of international students coming to China has decreased, and the number of Internship Positions in Chinese Teaching has also decreased accordingly.Competition for Chinese language teaching internships has increased,it makes Chinese International Education master’s students have some teaching internship anxiety problems.Accordingly, the author uses research methods such as questionnaire surveys and interviews, starting from seven dimensions: pre-class preparation, identity, classroom questioning, classroom performance, classroom atmosphere and order, teaching effect, and teaching evaluation.Taking the background of the epidemic as the research object of the 2020 Master of Chinese International Education students of Fujian Normal University and Zhejiang Normal University who have conducted Chinese language teaching internships, the teaching internship anxiety of 95 Chinese international education master’s students was studied, and the following conclusions were drawn:Under the background of the epidemic, the Master of Chinese International Education has survived in the anxiety of teaching internship s,and a small number of them have high anxiety about teaching internships. The anxiety of teaching internships for master’s degree students in Chinese international education is mainly manifested in the three stages of daily teaching: before, during and after class. Before class,it is manifested as longer preparation time, more content, and low sense of identity of teachers;during class,it is manifested as lack of classroom management skills, difficulty in responding flexibly to classroom questions, and classroom performance is affected by teaching experience;after class,it is anxious to see the teaching effect and pay too much attention to external teaching evaluation.Through further analysis,it can be seen that the teaching internship anxiety of Chinese international education master’s students is mainly formed by the interaction of subjective factors such as their own personality, professional knowledge, teaching ability, teaching equipment, curriculum arrangement, and students.Teaching internship anxiety can have an impact on the quality of teaching, their own physical and mental health, and career planning and future career choices. Therefore, the author puts forward several suggestions that will help alleviate the anxiety of teaching internships for master’s degree students in Chinese international education.First of all, under the background of the epidemic,Master of Chinese International Education students should adjust their mentality, consolidate the basic knowledge of the profession, and improve their teaching skills with the times.Secondly, the internship unit should arrange internship training for teaching interns, improve online teaching facilities, and arrange class hours scientifically and reasonably. Finally, the society should speed up the construction of an internship and employment information sharing platform and a teaching resource sharing platform for Chinese international education majors, improve the recognition of Chinese international education majors, and increa se the selfidentity of Chinese language teaching interns.
