New Mainstream Film Research From The Perspective Of Local Culture

At the very beginning when the concept of new mainstream film entered the academic world,it was the object of much attention.After more than ten years of evolution,the concept evolved from the theme to the mainstream film and then to the new mainstream film.Drive by the consumer society,it has developed continuously and created remarkable economic benefits.It can be seen that the new mainstream films have made historic achievements in promoting the development of China.In the face of cultural integration in the global context,Chinese new mainstream films are spreading,while their local culture is constantly developing and settling.However,as the geographical nature is constantly blurred in the world development,the local cultural connotation in the new mainstream films is also gradually tending to be simple and popular.In this paper,the new mainstream film as the research object,combing the new mainstream movie’s development history,interpretation of the new development and change of the mainstream film,in the perspective of local culture,from the new mainstream culture of responsibility,culture,cultural values and cultural character aesthetics,and analysis of its cultural aspects in characterization,on the basis of a large number of case analysis,Illustrate the new current mainstream film in developing cultural responsibility,have the courage to bear perspective based on local culture,led the Chinese culture to go out and actively seeking the cultural aesthetic level contents and forms of innovation,make the traditional and modern compatible,respect and tolerance public value orientation,extend the text,the concept of the mainstream value satisfy the mass consumer culture at the same time stick to real character,At the same time,we think about some problems existing in the new mainstream films.Based on the analysis of the current situation,we put forward some suggestions and prospects for the healthy development of the new mainstream films in the future.
