As early as the birth of Chinese films,family ethical films with families as the main object of expression have been popular with the majority of audiences.This type of films often take "family" as the axis to construct dramatic conflicts through the emotional relationship between family members,analyze the connection between individuals and the explicit or implicit fate of The Times,so as to achieve the spiritual resonance with the public.Therefore,family ethics films are still prosperous after centuries of changes in The Times.In particular,since the 18 th CPC National Congress,socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era,and literary and artistic creation has also shown a trend of prosperity and development and achieved fruitful results.In the context of the new era,literary and artistic works shoulder the responsibility of "telling Chinese stories well and showing the credible,lovely and respectable image of China to the world",which is also true for Chinese films.Among them,family ethics films,as an important medium to convey mainstream values,practice the important mission of "telling Chinese stories well" with typified and diversified discourse expressions,explore new ways to express the ethical emotions of contemporary Chinese families,and truly present the ethical ecology of contemporary Chinese families.On the one hand,family ethics films take the "family" full of Oriental ethics as the narrative link,and integrate with youth,comedy,sports and other types of elements,catering to the public’s interest in watching movies,and gradually come into the mainstream discourse with the return of family morality.On the other hand,family ethics films also carry the inheritance and transformation of family ethics concepts under the influence of various factors in the present era,and present richer text forms in the collision of different ethical discourses within the family.From the perspective of narrative ethics,this paper makes a comprehensive study of the ethical discourse of family ethics films in the new era,which is not only to fully carry forward the cultural tradition of "the text carries the Tao",but also to observe the modern transformation of traditional cultural spirit from the inner level.It is also the significance of thinking about "home culture" from the perspective of film in improving the influence of Chinese culture in the local area,breaking the estrangement caused by regional cultural differences,and enhancing the sense of identity of Chinese people.The article mainly explores and contemplates the narrative ethics research of Chinese family ethics films in the new era from the following parts.The first chapter first sorts out narrative ethics,elaborates on the historical context of the formation of this theory,and how to enter the field of film from literature,becoming one of the cutting-edge theories in film research;Secondly,provide a clearer definition of the concept of family ethics films,and provide a basic understanding of their development by analyzing and tracing the characteristics of family ethics films in different periods.Chapters 2 to 4 are the main body of this article,which analyzes the main style characteristics of family ethics films since the new era from the perspective of film narrative ethics,from content to form.The second and third chapters mainly analyze how the new era family ethics film portrays the ethical relationship between the family and individuals,as well as between the family and the country/society,from a narrative perspective.The second chapter mainly explores the game between the two different ethical values of "family centered" and "individual righteousness" in the new era family ethics film,based on the strong social responsibility and moral care rooted in the ethical narrative tradition,from the perspective of "individual and family" at the micro level.It becomes a "dual text" for observing the family ethics crisis and resolving ethical anxiety.Chapter 3 explores the interdependence between the family and the external society from a macro perspective of family and country,from the dual coordinates of history and reality.At the same time,using the "nostalgic narrative strategy" that is popular in the new era of family ethics films,explores how these films use imaginative memory reconstruction to inquire about family ethics traditions,responding to the emotional needs of contemporary Chinese people for "home",while relieving internal ethical cracks in the family,Reestablish the family ethics of contemporary Chinese people and the community consciousness of Chinese families.Chapter 4 starts from the formal expression of "film as a spatiotemporal art",and interprets the image form of family ethics films from two levels: "space" and "time".Through different types of spatial construction,as well as narrative structures and camera techniques that include temporal dynamics,it analyzes how family ethics films use the unique spatiotemporal structure of movies to convey rich ethical connotations.Chapter 5 explores the ethical dilemmas and future development paths of family ethics films through a comprehensive examination of both inside and outside the text,thus forming a comprehensive speculative analysis of Chinese family ethics films in the new era.The Chinese spirit is the core theme of literary and artistic creation in the new era.Although there have been various forms of family ethics film creation in China since the new era,they all write a strong and distinct Chinese spirit under the unified theme of family relationships,caring for every Chinese who has undergone the baptism of the new era from the perspective of secular emotions.This paper uses "film narrative ethics" as the theoretical window to identify and refine the ethical value and theme connotation of Chinese family ethics films in the new era,with a view to completing the cultural exploration of the strong understanding of the generation and continuity of survival in Chinese cultural traditions,investigating the significance of family ethics traditions in contemporary society,and also helping to build a disciplinary system and creative expression system of film theory with Chinese cultural characteristics.
