| Chinese opera culture and Chinese painting are rooted in the same land of China.They share the same cultural background and aesthetic commonalities,and they interact and complement each other in the historical development process.Due to the slow development of traditional Chinese opera figure painting,which was not favored by ancient literati,it was not until the 20 th century that Guan Liang and Lin Fengmian’s path of integration between China and the West brought traditional Chinese opera subject matter figure painting to the public’s attention.This article consists of three chapters.The first chapter will comb the development of traditional Chinese opera culture in chronological order,explore its origin and development process,and classify traditional Chinese opera subject matter figure painting into three stages: the embryonic stage,the development stage,and the transformation after the 20 th century to explore the transformation of traditional Chinese opera figure painting from its recording function to its aesthetic function.The second chapter introduces the development trend of contemporary meticulous painting and ink painting,focusing on analyzing the artistic language of composition,modeling,color,pen and ink in contemporary opera figure painting.In the third chapter,the author will take Quanzhou puppet show as the theme creation,collect ancient and modern puppet show subject matter painting works for analysis,and explore the cultural background,development status,and research significance of puppet show.In combination with the author’s practical creation,the author uses different creative perspectives to explore the diversity of themes in traditional Chinese opera figure paintings,and appeals to people to attach importance to and inherit traditional Chinese culture. |
