In recent years,in order to thoroughly implement the requirements of the Party Central Committee to strengthen literary and artistic education,various parts of the country have advocated quality dance education to improve students’ dance quality.According to the survey,Beijing has carried out quality dance education in various primary and secondary schools throughout the city.Currently,with the gradual development of quality-oriented dance education,all sectors of society are increasingly paying attention to its development,and are beginning to think about how to establish suitable and feasible quality-oriented dance courses suitable for their age characteristics in the child stage.The primary school stage is a critical period for growth and development,and it is highly malleable in terms of ideology and morality.Therefore,it is necessary to conduct dance education through effective quality education dance courses at this stage.Based on the learning situation of dance teaching in Jin jiang Seventh Experimental Primary School in Quan zhou City,the author applies the picture book "Hua Mulan" to children’s dance teaching with the third grade students of the school as the teaching object.During the teaching process,through the interdisciplinary integration of reading and dancing,on the basis of understanding the story,the author uses the picture book to create situations and build connections between knowledge;Capture typical images and refine action essentials;Starting from improving teaching efficiency,teaching should be carried out in a student-oriented and teacher-assisted learning style;Through the life story of the protagonist "Hua Mulan" in the traditional story,the traditional virtues of filial piety,benevolence,wisdom,and courage as well as the patriotism of the children are cultivated,while promoting the two-way development of students’ knowledge and skills,thereby achieving the goal of dancing with books and educating people through dance.
