| The starting point for this paper is the observation of common game evaluation topics among players in some game forums on the Internet.The popular paradigm of commercial game evaluation often only shows a modified part of the game,which somehow obscures our true understanding of the game object.The evaluation paradigm of "Game Perspective of Tonality" provides a new interpretation of this issue.The term "tonality" is often talked about by the gamer community,and although their judgment of the game is sometimes one-sided due to various factors,we still need to return to the most solid physical dimension of the player and examine the relationship between the game object and the person in the process of playing the game,because "game tonality " is born in it.In this paper,we will first identify the relevant concepts to clarify the context of "game tonality",and then explain the inner principle of "game tonality",and analyze it as a kind of game aesthetic scale in the specific game design.In a word,"game tonality" is a kind of player’s overall grasp of game temperament,and it is also a kind of judgment based on the aesthetic value of the game.The "game tonality" corresponds to a specific "behavior-psychology" pattern of players.Through the exploration of this model,we find the importance of "players’ emotion" to "game situation".The author believes that "emotion" is a transcendent existence between players and games,and therefore the relationship between "game tonality" and "player emotion" also contains a possibility of constructing a new type of public space. |
