With the popularity of “Internet+” technology and applications,online teaching of Chinese as a foreign language is developing rapidly.However,it also brings many challenges to teaching practice while providing convenience.TCSL teachers should explore more effective teaching methods targeted at its special characteristics.Since the circular method originated from English teaching and has been effectively used in it,this thesis attempts to introduce this method into the multimodal class of the primary comprehensive Chinese course in order to enrich TCSL practice and research.Aimed at the present situation and existing problems of elementary Chinese comprehensive course in multimodal Chinese classroom,this thesis applies the circular teaching method.According to the general teaching process of circular teaching method,a circular teaching process suitable for primary comprehensive Chinese class is formulated.Taking the second lesson “When does he come back” in HSK Standard Course 3 as an example,the teaching design is carried out and applied to classroom practice.Through classroom observation,interview records and reflection after class,the effect of circular teaching method in multimodal class is summarized,and some teaching suggestions are put forward accordingly.Literature review reveals that there are some problems in today’s multimodal class for the primary comprehensive Chinese course,such as teachers’ inability to balance various language elements and skills,and mechanical repetition of various modes.In view of this,the author applies circular teaching to the multimodal class in order to improve the teaching result.Practice and research show that the application of circular teaching method in the introduction of multimodal Chinese class,the explanation of new lessons,the summary of class and the homework after class can effectively improve the teaching effect.Firstly,multimodal “circulation” enriches teaching methods,enhances students’ interest,and can coordinate the development of students’ language skills.Secondly,a text begins with “listening” and then circulates,which is conducive to improving the efficiency of circulation.Thirdly,according to the learning level and acceptance degree of junior international students,putting vocabulary learning before the new class can reduce the pressure of students and help them to consolidate their knowledge.On this basis,some suggestions are given to further integrate circular teaching with multimodal teaching: 1)Teachers should flexibly choose modes and circular frequencies adapted to teaching tasks,and strengthen the application of audio circular and group activities.2)Teachers should take the review of each class as a fixed process of classroom teaching,so that students can strengthen their review behavior and consolidate their knowledge and skills under the cyclic behavior.The successful practice of multimodal class integrated with the circular teaching method expands the application field of the method,and provides some guide for improving the TCSL effect on the one hand.On the other hand,it is also hoped that this study can broaden the research of teaching Chinese as a foreign language. |
