The Wumeng region has been a transportation hub for Sichuan,Guizhou, and Yunnan since ancient times, and is also a region where various ethnic cultures gather and frequent exchanges and exchanges blend.Based on the cultural relics of the Wumeng region,it is natural to explore the historical landscape of exchanges and mutual learning between ethnic groups born and raised in Sri Lanka. Before Emperor Wu of Han developed the southwestern barbarians, the Wumeng region was mainly dominated by local culture. With the development of this region by the Central Dynasty,Han culture entered the Wumeng region strongly, forming a coexistence of indigenous culture and Han culture, forming a diversified and integrated composite culture in the process of multiple cultural interactions. The interaction among various ethnic groups displayed in the existing cultural relics of the Wumeng region can be explained from five aspects: firstly,at the political level, the interaction is reflected in the establishment of administrative structures and the operation of transportation networks,as well as conflicts and adjustments under social identity differences endowed by politics; The second is the conflict and integration of the verification of the stationed sites, which is an important way to build a unified pattern of military and political integration; The third aspect is the interaction at the economic level, viewing the economic exchanges between the central and local governments, between regions, and within the Inner Mongolia region from various cultural relics such as currency, salt path, and inscriptions; The fourth is the integration of cultural and educational aspects, mainly manifested in the promotion of Confucianism, the internal transmission of Confucianism,Buddhism, and Taoism,as well as the integration of belief systems; The fifth is the sharing and integration of production and living utensils, mainly manifested in the integration of multi-ethnic elements in agricultural production tools, handicraft production tools, and living utensils.Given the uneven distribution of cultural relics in different regions and times in the Wumeng region,it is difficult to analyze the cultural factors of mutual learning and integration among different ethnic groups in different periods. Therefore, the paper focuses on the cultural evolution and exchange that play a decisive role in cultural changes from the existing cultural relics, that is,the communication and integration of various ethnic groups in the Wumeng region in multiple fields from the perspective of local culture and Han culture.
