| In the pluralistic context since the new century,female-themed writing has flourished.The re-examination of the relationship between mother and daughter has increasingly become the creation theme of filmmakers,especially female filmmakers.The real relationship between mother and daughter obscured by the myth of maternal love appears on the screen in a chaotic and complex state.This paper focuses on the textual construction and aesthetic expression of Chinese mother-daughter relationship films in the 21 st century.Films about mother-daughter relationships in the 21 st century show a variety of mother-daughter relationships,such as mother-daughter kindness,symbiosis(dependence)and inversion.Mother’s kindness and daughter’s filial piety,as an "ideal form" approved by the patriarchal consciousness,continue to practice the cultivation and identification of maternal identity,and show the changes in the regression and reshaping in the regression;With the in-depth exploration of female spiritual world,the fantasy of symbiosis(dependence)between mother and daughter points to the psychological root of the conflict between mother and daughter,and a more real and cruel picture of mother and daughter world is revealed.The female-female inversion explores the idea of building an ideal mother-daughter relationship.Through the interaction of the female body,the intimacy of the mother-daughter relationship is expressed;the weaving of dreams and hallucinations reveals the deep emotional needs of the mother and daughter;the absence of the father strengthens the emotional connection between the mother and daughter;the continuation of the mother-daughter relationship from generation to generation builds the maternal lineage and provides the possibility of identity for women;the 21 st century mother-daughter relationship films realize the aesthetic expression of the presentation of the mother-daughter relationship. |
