Jie Rong And Martial Arts:A Study On The Palace Pictures Of Qianlong Mulan Autumn Hunting

Weichang is a hunting system and etiquette culture which has taken shape since the zhou dynasty.Both the hunting customs of the primal society are followed,and the hunting is also important for hunting weapons.All dynasties,since the qin and han dynasties,laid great emphasis on hunting,among which the hunting at mulan weichang was particularly great in the qing dynasty.Both the qianlong period and the hunting at mulan weichang were at their peak.Qianlong laid great stress not only on the hunting in autumn,but also on recording the hunting in images.At the request of the emperor qianlong,the court painters,particularly cashman weichang,drew a great number of pictures relevant to mulan weichang.These pictures not only have unique artistic charm,but also have precious historical value and cultural connotation.This paper takes the autumn hunting picture of qianlong mulan as the research object,except the introduction and conclusion,it can be divided into four parts: The first part is mulan paddock and autumn hunting.Based on the historical evolution of mulan paddock and the construction and use of chengde summer resort,this paper makes a systematic understanding of the activities related to mulan autumn hunting.The relationship between the summer resort and mulan autumn hunting is emphatically explored,and the hunting process and related ceremony system are clarified.The second part of the qianlong emperor mulan circle and hunting map.This chapter focuses on the classification of the existing pictures,which are divided into two types: Hunting deer and "Whistle deer".Among them,some representative pictures related to hunting are mulan weichang,the hunting map in autumn suburbs,mulan weichang and hongli hunting rifle."Whistle deer" Takes "Whistle deer picture" As the core picture.This chapter will systematically study the content and meaning of the pictures based on hunting activities.The third part is the hunting portrait of emperor qianlong.Taking the qianlong emperor(nanyuan)shooting picture,one arrow and two deer picture,emperor qianlong and his concubine wei arc capture deer picture,and lang sining’s qianlong emperor holding the arrow picture as representatives,this paper studies the purpose of creation and the form and characteristics of the portraits.The fourth part is the mulan autumn hunting and the political function of the related pictures.The political effects of mulan autumn hunting and related pictures are discussed from the perspectives of vassal rule,manchurian family law and multi-ethnic states.
