Dg’ ml dgon is the early Sichuan northwest plateau famous bon chos monastery,so far nearly seven hundred years of history,is the Songpan area 13 existing bon chos monasteries has a long history and relatively sound education system of the famous monastery.Historically,the monastery education development has played a period of great prosperity on dg’ ml dgon as the center to cultivation of monks and sent to various areas.Since the reform and opening up,religious policies have been implemented,monastery education has been redeveloped,and various systems of monasteries have been established and improved,especially attention to the development of monastic education,local and somewhere else monks have been actively invited to impart knowledge.Today,Dg’ ml dgon attracts bon chos monks from other places in Songpan,Jiuzhaigou,Ruoergai and Diebu area of Gansu province to study,becoming a wide range of monasteries.Drung rms pa education and Rtogs ldn education are two the most basic types of monastic education,that is,Drung rms pa education is the main form of monastic education,group learning,speculative philosophy,equivalent to the theoretical accumulation stage;Dtongs ldn education is tantric practice,especially practice Dzogchen,under the guidance of closed practice,individual practice,equivalent to the process of theory into practice.This paper is divided into four chapters to systematically study the monastic education of Dg’ ml dgon.First,By briefly describing the history and culture of Songpan,where Dg’mldgon is located,and expatiating the continuous development of bonchos culture in Songpan area,Lay the cultural background for the development of the later text.Next,To describe the history of Dg’ ml dgon,the origin of education and the development of monastic education,Step by step into the topic of this paper,Combing the source of Dg’ ml dgon and from the existing relevant fragmentary literature and oral biography to discuss the rise and prosperity of Dg’ ml dgon education and the new development process take the reform and opening up as the new starting point.Moreover,Based on the field investigation and interview,the specific analysis of Drung rms pa education from the aspects of school system,school-level schooling system,teaching content setting,educational methods,assessment system,degree awarding ceremony and so on,Try to explain "what Drung rms pa education is,how to educate,what to educate,how to educate".Last,According to the combination of first-hand information of the fieldwork and cultural and historical data,the connotation of the Rtogs ldna education and practice,guide the teacher,practical practice procedures,practical practice methods,practical practice content and other aspects to describe the specific description of Rtogs ldna education,Trying to illustrate the culture of its education.In short,the author on the basis of absorbing previous research,make full use of Tibetan Chinese documentation,combined with the first-hand information of the fieldwork,aims to more system clear to the essential Dg’ ml dgon monastic education’s history and Drung rms pa education and Rtogs ldn education two types of education specific analysis,trying to reflect mainly essential Dg’ ml dgon bon chos teaching the development of small and medium-sized monastery education,try to explain bon chos teaching from partial close to the development of the scholastic philosophy process,and show bon chos’ theory architecture pattern and ideological culture,digging out and sorting out the intrinsic value.
