The Strategy And Enlightenment Of The Communist Party Of China To Deal With The Western Blockade In The Early Stage Of The People’s Republic Of China

In the early stage of the People’s Republic of China,based on the cold war thinking,the Western imperialist countries led by the United States implemented the blockade policy of economic embargo,political isolation and military siege against new China in an attempt to strangle new China.In order to get rid of the dangerous situation of internal and external difficulties,the Communist Party of China led the people to calmly deal with the Western blockade,which consolidated the new democratic regime.In the early stage of the People’s Republic of China,taking the war to resist U.S.aggression and aid Korea as the boundary,the struggle of the Communist Party of China against the Western blockade was divided into two stages: the stage of dealing with the limited blockade and the stage of breaking through the comprehensive blockade.In order to break the Western blockade,the Communist Party of China had adopted a series of strategies: Economically,the Communist Party of China had relied on the domestic market to expand domestic sales and develop production,changed the pattern of foreign trade,adjusted the mode of foreign trade,opened up foreign trade channels,and flexibly carried out economic and trade exchanges with different types of countries;Politically,the Communist Party of China had adopted the strategies of equal counteraction,used contradictions to establish an international anti-blockade united front,and carried out anti-blockade publicity and mobilization at home and abroad;Militarily,the Communist Party of China had focused on promoting national reunification,actively strengthened defense,prepared for military struggle,and adopted military counterattack strategy if western countries touch Chinese bottom line.In the early stage of the People’s Republic of China,the Communist Party of China’s struggle against the Western blockade broke the attempt of Western imperialist countries to strangle new China,tempered the ruling ability and level of the Communist Party of China,and inspired other countries to fight against the Western blockade.Reviewing the history of the Communist Party of China response to the Western blockade in the early days of the People’s Republic of China,we can draw the following experience: Firstly,adhering to the leadership of the Communist Party of China is the fundamental guarantee to break the blockade;Secondly,insisting on relying on the people is the key to breaking the blockade;Thirdly,upholding independence is the basic principle of breaking the blockade;Fourthly,the strategy of flexible struggle is the necessary guarantee for breaking the blockade.The struggle of the Communist Party of China against the Western blockade in the early stage of the People’s Republic of China provides an important enlightenment with us to deal with complex and changeable external risks and challenges in the new era: Firstly,we should adhere to expanding domestic demand and speed up the construction of“Double Cycle” new development pattern;Secondly,we should seek win-win cooperation and promote the construction of global partnership network;Thirdly,we should strengthen security precautions to safeguard national security and social stability;Fourthly,we should do well in China’s affairs and enhance China’s comprehensive national strength to win the initiative.
