Research On The Role Of Government In The High-quality Development Of Logistics Industry In Yancheng City

With the development of information technology,logistics industry is more closely related to people’s life and has become an irreplaceable livelihood industry.At the same time,it is also an important guarantee to promote economic development.As one of the cities in the "Yangtze River Delta economic circle",Yancheng has the largest land area in Jiangsu Province.In the new era,improving the construction of the modern logistics system in Yancheng as soon as possible is not only an objective need for the economy to shift to a high-quality development stage,but also an inevitable requirement for implementing the concept of ecological civilization construction and guiding the formation of green development methods and lifestyles..This thesis mainly studies the role of the Yancheng City government in the high-quality development of the logistics industry.Firstly,the thesis summarizes the research trends and results at home and abroad,and discusses the role of the government in the high-quality development of the logistics industry and the corresponding effects.On this basis,this thesis analyzes the development of economy,transportation and logistics in Yancheng City and the current situation of the role of the government,affirms the role of Yancheng government in the high-quality development of the logistics industry,which is mainly reflected in policy research,institutional reform,infrastructure construction,etc.,and points out the shortcomings of the government’s functional positioning,policy system,market supervision and information construction.Then,through the comparison with high-quality logistics development areas such as Shanghai,Xuzhou and Yiwu,it summarizes the experience that Yancheng Municipal government needs to learn from in playing the role of the government.Finally,the thesis puts forward suggestions for the high-quality development of Yancheng logistics industry,mainly including that the government should improve the current local logistics laws and regulations,improve the construction of basic transportation and intelligent logistics infrastructure,give full play to the supervision of modern logistics industry,and establish a supporting system for the high-quality development of logistics industry.
