The countryside is a complex regional with natural, social, and economic characteristics.Natural factors such as topography, landform, climate, and human factors such as social development endow the complexity of the rural regional system, making the production, living, and ecological functions of the country’s rural areas different. As far as the whole country is concerned,in the historical process of rural development, the long-term urban-first development model has made rural development restricted by factors such as funds, talents, and technology. The gap between urban and rural areas has increased, and problems such as "hollow villages" have gradually become prominent.Production, living, and ecological problems such as the decline in the quality of cultivated land,non-point source pollution in rural areas, domestic pollution, and environmental damage have greatly reduced the ability of rural areas to resist disturbances, and seriously damaged the ability of rural sustainable development. Therefore,it is very important to improve rural resilience and risk prevention capabilities. In terms of accumulation of capital, technology, talents and other elements, villages are not as good as cities, but natural resources, agricultural production, farming culture, local talents and other elements are gathered in large numbers in villages. These rural-specific elements are the basis for rural economic and social development,as well as the basis for villages to cope with external disturbances and shocks. As a complex regional where people interact with the natural environment, the coordinated development of production, living, and ecological space can build a resilient network for rural development, and provide a guarantee for the village to cope with uncertainties and disturbances in the development process. This paper sorts out the connotation of "Production, living and ecological space" and rural resilience through literature, and constructs an evaluation index system for rural resilience from two levels of resilience recovery and resilience improvement. In the process of rural development, due to human or natural reasons, the rural system has problems such as over-exposure and over-sensitivity.These existing shocks have caused the fragility of production, living and ecological space, and reduced the ability of rural areas to resist risks. The resilience of the rural system is improved after the existing vulnerabilities are repaired. This is the process of restoring the resilience of the rural system. For potential and unknown risks, villages need to take the initiative to enhance their ability to identify and adapt risks by improving production resilience, life resilience, and ecological resilience. This is the process of improving the resilience of the rural system.Resilience restoration and resilience improvement of rural systems are two simultaneous processes. In the interaction of these two processes, the combined resilience of “production-life”resilience,“production-ecological” resilience, and “life-ecological” resilience is derived. With the continuous improvement of the spatial coupling and coordinated development level of the "Production, living and ecological space",the functions of the "Production, living and ecological space" have been continuously improved, and a rural resilience network has gradually formed. This paper selects the national villages as the research object, constructs a rural resilience measurement index system, uses the entropy weight method to measure the resilience of the country and each province’s villages, and conducts an analysis. The main conclusions drawn from this study are:As far as the country is concerned, the rural resilience has shown a relatively obvious upward trend from 2010 to 2020,reaching 0.664 in 2020.The resilience restoration process and production resilience in the process of upgrading play an important role in the resilience of rural villages across the country; There are large differences in rural resilience performance among provinces across the country.Among them,Heilongjiang,Tibet,Inner Mongolia,Shandong,Jilin,Jiangsu and other provinces and autonomous regions are at the forefront of 31 provinces and autonomous regions, while Beijing,Tianjin,Shanghai and Hainan are the poorest; The rural resilience of the eastern, central and western regions is obtained by classifying the provinces and calculating the average value. The results show that the rural resilience in the central region is the best, followed by the western region, and the rural resilience in the eastern region is the worst.
