Study On The Origin,Connotation And Value Of The Great Party Building Spirit

Chairman Mao Zedong pointed out that "people should have a little spirit",and so should a political party.The CPC has survived a hundred years,and through the baptism of great practice in the period of revolution,construction and reform,it has united and led the Chinese people to achieve the great leap from standing up,becoming rich to becoming strong,and entered a new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics.The 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China put the promotion of the great party building spirit into the theme of the congress.The great party building spirit shows that our party has further deepened its understanding of the "three laws" : the law of socialist construction,the law of the Communist Party in power,and the law of the development of human society.The great spirit of party building raised the major question of where the CPC will go in the new era under the unprecedented great changes in a century.This requires in-depth practical answers to a series of questions such as why the CPC can,how the CPC,as the ruling party,can achieve sustainable development,and how to maintain the progressiveness nature of the party.Based on the discussion and answers to the above questions,this paper analyzes and studies the historical logic,theoretical logic and practical logic of the great party building spirit.From the perspective of the development history of Marxism,this paper is committed to exploring the origin and connotation of the great spirit of party building,and how the great spirit of party building can guide and encourage the CPC to strengthen its own construction,and lead the people of the country to forge ahead in a new era and promote the realization of the great project.This article is mainly divided into three parts: The first part is to sort out the origin of the great party building spirit.The great spirit of Party building is not water without a source or a tree without roots.It is not only the summary and distillation of the century long struggle and historical practical experience of the CPC,but also draws rich nutrition from the development history of Marxism over 170 years.By sorting out the spiritual requirements of the Communist Manifesto and the international communist movement(First International,Second International,Third International)for Marxist political parties and their early spread in China,combining the social,historical and cultural background of the CPC,and excavating the core of Marxism,we can grasp the source and historical connotation of the great spirit of party building as a whole.The second part mainly reveals,summarizes and concludes the connotation and main characteristics of the great party building spirit.The great spirit of Party building can be systematically expounded from four levels: adhering to the truth,firm in ideals,fulfilling the original aspiration,undertaking the mission,fearing no sacrifice,fighting bravely,being loyal to the Party and living up to the people.It answers what kind of ruling party we want to build,that is,to build a ruling party that the people are satisfied with,and a ruling party that is ahead of the times.The in-depth analysis of the connotation of the great spirit of party building can be summarized into four aspects: first,adhering to the truth and firm ideals refer to the world outlook of the CPC people;second,practicing the original intention and undertaking the mission refer to the values of the CPC people;third,not afraid of sacrifice and heroic struggle refer to the struggle spirit of the CPC people;fourth,being loyal to the party and living up to the people refer to the style and purpose of the CPC people.These four aspects are not isolated from each other.It is precisely under the guidance of the Marxist scientific world outlook that we adhere to the values of the CPC people,condense the struggle spirit of the CPC people,adhere to the style and purpose of the CPC people,and implement them into concrete practice.The third part mainly analyzes the value significance of carrying forward the great party building spirit in the new era from both theoretical and practical aspects.In terms of theoretical value,the great spirit of party building has further enriched and developed the Marxist theory of party building.As the source of spirit,it has strengthened the self construction of the CPC.It is an epochal manifestation of China’s excellent traditional culture and great national spirit.It has profoundly answered the question of how the CPC can maintain its progressiveness nature,and further strengthened the party’s leadership self-confidence;In terms of practical value,the great spirit of party building has stimulated the CPC’s endogenous power to save,revitalize,enrich and strengthen the country,clarified that the party should always adhere to its original mission,further promote the construction of the great project in the new era,and deepen the construction of the Marxist "three types"(learning,service and innovation)ruling party.The great spirit of party building comprehensively summarizes the historical experience of the CPC’s centennial struggle,provides the direction for the Communists to move forward,points out the direction for China’s next stage of development,and provides more assistance for global development.The great spirit of Party building can light up the present and enlighten the future,and it will also have a profound impact on building a modern socialist country and further promoting the great historical cause of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
