| Since the end of the 20 th century,China has entered the stage of population aging. With the acceleration of the trend of population aging,China’s elderly care and elderly care models are facing severe challenges, and the elderly care problems caused by the aging of rural population are becoming more prominent.Through continuous exploration and practice, the elderly care model has been constantly innovated, and the "combination of medical care and nursing" is one of the important ways."Combination of medical and nursing care" is an extension of the elderly care service path and an innovation in the elderly care service concept. It is a new elderly care service management model that integrates daily life care services, illness diagnosis and treatment, medical care, leisure and entertainment services for the elderly by multiple market entities such as elderly care institutions, medical institutions, and community organizations."The inversion of urban and rural areas" caused by the aging of the population has also led to a very prominent issue of providing for the elderly in rural areas. With the increasing demand for elderly care in rural areas, rural socialized elderly care services are facing dual constraints of immature development of multiple supply entities and limited resources for home care supply. How to meet the elderly care needs of rural elderly people, especially the elderly in rural areas, living alone, and empty-nest,has become an important task in exploring the establishment of a rural socialized elderly care service system.Currently,China’s "medical and nursing integration" model is in a rapid development stage,so many systems and resource supply mechanisms need to be improved and regulated, and service measures need to be strengthened.Based on the practice of integrating medical care and elderly care in rural areas of Y County, and based on a review of domestic and foreign research results, using methods such as literature research, questionnaire surveys, and on-site interviews, and using Maslow’s demand theory and welfare pluralism as theoretical foundations,a survey was conducted to study the current situation of the integrated elderly care model in rural areas. It was found that the development of the integrated elderly care model in rural areas of China faces low occupancy rates of medical care institutions and insufficient medical care service capabilities The multiple difficulties such as low participation of social entities lie behind the deep-rooted traditional family elderly care concept,a shortage of professional service talents, incomplete construction of a three-dimensional elderly care service system, and incomplete government department collaboration mechanisms. In order to promote the further development of the rural medical and elderly care integration model, innovative solutions have been proposed based on local conditions, such as guiding the establishment of a healthy elderly care concept, strengthening the construction of a professional nursing team, constructing a diversified social participation mechanism for rural medical and elderly care integration, establishing a relevant service evaluation and supervision system, and promoting the construction and market-oriented operation of new medical and elderly care institutions,This provides a reference for promoting the long-term development of the "medical and elderly care integration" elderly care model in rural areas, and has important practical significance for improving the quality of life of rural elderly people. |
