Research On The Predicament And Countermeasures Of People’s Mediation In S County

As an indispensable part of the mass self-government system,people’s mediation plays a non-negligible role in promoting social harmony and resolving social contradictions.As the economy and society step up to a new stage,people’s awareness of the rule of law is constantly improving,and the number and types of disputes are increasing and the types are becoming more complex.It has brought certain difficulties to the county-level areas which are already in the weak link in the social governance at the grassroots level.In this paper,the people’s mediation work of S County is selected as the research object,the problems existing in the people’s mediation work are deeply explored and the causes are analyzed,and the new path to provide high-quality dispute resolution services for the masses is explored,which has practical significance for the continuous promotion of the orderly development of people’s mediation work.Based on the reality of the people’s mediation work in S County,this paper sorts out the problems existing in the people’s mediation work in S county,further analyzes the causes of the problems and explores the countermeasures to improve the people’s mediation work based on the theory of new public management and the theory of multi-center governance.Centering on the thinking process of "proposing,analyzing and solving problems",this paper adopts the methods of literature research and interview to find the difficulties in the people’s mediation work in S County,including the lack of strength of the people’s mediation team,the low enthusiasm of the mediators,the low participation rate of the public,and the failure of the diversification mechanism to effectively play a role,and makes an in-depth analysis on the causes of the dilemma: First,the working mechanism of people’s mediation is not sound;Second,the people’s mediation work is not well guaranteed;Third,the government’s administrative power intervenes too much;Fourth,lack of understanding of the importance of people’s mediation.Finally,the paper puts forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions for the problems and causes of the people’s mediation work in S County: first,strengthen the construction of the team and improve the working mechanism;Second,strengthen safeguard measures to promote the work;Third,strengthen resource integration and guide social participation;Fourth,strengthen the way of publicity and attach importance to people’s mediation.It is hoped that the above targeted suggestions can optimize the development of the people’s mediation work in S County,promote social harmony and stability,form a good atmosphere of social governance,and provide some reference value for the development of people’s mediation work in other similar areas.
