Research On The Theory And Practice Of Xi Jinping’s Exposition Of The People’s Position

Political stance bears on the future and destiny of a political party and on national stability and unity.The people’s position is the clear political position of the Marxist political party.The people’s position is the firm political position of the Communist Party of China.History has also proved that the people’s stance is the fundamental reason for the CPC to overcome the severe situation at home and abroad and achieve success in its revolutionary and construction undertakings.The report to the Party’s 20 th National Congress stated that "we should firmly stand on the people’s position,grasp their aspirations,respect their creativity,and pool their wisdom",and put "We must uphold the people’s supremacy" on the top of the six priorities.General Secretary Xi Jinping inherited the relevant theories of Marxism and formed a discussion on the people’s position according to the specific requirements of the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.This discussion points out the direction for the work of the Party and the state,and has important guiding significance for the development of economy,politics,society and other aspects.In particular,at the beginning of the COVID-19 outbreak,the CPC Central Committee put people’s health and life safety first,quickly formulated relevant epidemic prevention measures,and united with the people,achieving a phased victory in epidemic prevention and control.This paper uses the methods of literature research and interdisciplinary research to make a relatively systematic interpretation of Xi Jinping’s exposition of the people’s position.The first part mainly expounds the background and significance of Xi Jinping’s discussion on the people’s position,collates the academic research results,forms the internal and external literature review,and determines the framework of the full text.The second part combs the theoretical origin of Xi Jinping’s discussion on the people’s position,that is,the inheritance of the people’s thought of Marxist classic writers,the continuation of the people’s thought of the CPC,and the sublation of the traditional people based thought of China.The third part summarizes the main contents of Xi Jinping’s exposition of the people’s position from the five aspects of understanding premise,fundamental guarantee,basic criteria,inevitable requirements and goal orientation of upholding the people’s position,and analyzes the characteristics and significance of Xi Jinping’s exposition of the people’s position on this basis.The fourth part clarifies the application of the people’s position in practice based on the COVID-19,and summarizes the experience of adhering to the unified leadership of the CPC Central Committee,playing the role of science and technology support,and giving play to the advantages of the socialist system.To sum up,in the new era,the study of Xi Jinping’s discussion on the people’s position is helpful to strengthen the Party’s own construction,solve the problem of who is in power and who depends on,and settle the foundation for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
