Research On The Confidence In The Socialist System With Chinese Characteristics Under The Perspective Of Major Sudden Public Incidents

In his report at the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,Comrade Hu Jintao first clearly advocated the "three confidences"-confidence in our path,theories,and systems.At the 95 th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China,General Secretary Xi Jinping added cultural confidence and elaborated that the whole Party should enhance the "four confidences" more consciously.The importance of the four confidences was further emphasized at the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.On multiple occasions,General Secretary Xi Jinping has stressed the issue of confidence in our system,highlighting its crucial role in the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Therefore,it is significant to analyze and study the confidence in the socialism with Chinese characteristics in the context of managing major public emergencies.This research will focus on exploring various aspects including scientific connotations,important values,response advantages,faced problems,root cause analysis,and corresponding solutions that are encompassed in the confidence of the socialism with Chinese characteristics.From China’s valuable experience in dealing with major public emergencies,it is clear that socialism with Chinese characteristics has shown multiple advantages and its superiority in various fields,providing a strong and reliable system guarantee.At the same time,successfully dealing with major public emergencies has created necessary conditions and important supports for cultivating and improving confidence in our system.In the new era,China has achieved leapfrog development in many aspects of socialist modernization through continuous hard work and struggle.However,China currently faces various risks and crises and has entered a period of frequent and prominent major public emergencies.These risks and crises pose severe challenges to social values and behavioral norms,and pose significant threats to social harmony,stability,and long-term national development.These problems and challenges arise because the socialism with Chinese characteristics needs to be continuously improved and developed,and the livelihood issues arising in practice have not been timely resolved,and the advantages of the socialist system have not been fully demonstrated.Furthermore,the suppression and defamation of socialist countries by capitalist countries have never stopped and have become even more intense with the significant growth of China’s comprehensive national strength.Therefore,from the perspective of major public emergencies,to explore the specific practical path to consolidate and enhance confidence in the socialism with Chinese characteristics,we must adhere to the people-centered principle,strengthen the mass base of system confidence;enhance emergency response capabilities,consolidate the practical base of system confidence;deepen the reform and innovation of the system and mechanism,enhance the endogenous power of system confidence;strengthen the publicity of system advantages,and optimize the internal and external environment of system confidence.
