Research On The Investigation Power Of The Supervisory Committee

The supervisory committee is the fourth type of state power organ after the legislative,administrative,and judicial organs.The county-level supervisory committee is at the grassroots level in China’s supervisory committee system and is a key link in bridging the "last mile" of anti-corruption work.In order to standardize the exercise of investigation power by county-level supervisory committees,effectively promote China’s anti-corruption work on the path of rule of law and standardization,enable the masses to truly enjoy the fruits of anti-corruption,enhance their sense of happiness,gain,and security,and connect the key link of the "last mile" of anti-corruption work.On the basis of studying the concept,characteristics,investigation measures,configuration evolution,and relationship with criminal investigation power of the supervisory committee,taking Y County in T City as an example,literature research method,comparative research method,case study method,and other methods were used to analyze the problems in the exercise of the investigation power of the county-level supervisory committee,including the subjects,objects,methods,and procedures of exercise,We have discovered that there have been issues of implementation distortion and deformation in the transmission of relevant systems and policies from the central to the local level.We have proposed that the exercise subject should improve their ability to perform their duties,supervise and protect the investigation objects in parallel,further improve investigation and evidence collection in terms of exercise methods,and improve supervision and restriction mechanisms in terms of exercise procedures to address these issues.For improving the investigation power of county-level supervisory committees,It is of great significance to leverage the investigative power of county-level supervisory committees to safeguard economic and social development.
