| Since the collapse of the Soviet Union,the world socialist movement has suffered unprecedented setbacks.The world socialist movement is still in low ebb until now.However,during this period of low tide,there were several socialist movements from time to time,and the Socialist movement led by the Communist Party of the Philippines was one of them.Moreover,the Communist Party of the Philippines not only adheres to Marxism-Leninism as its guiding ideology,but also emphasizes the guiding role of Mao Zedong Thought.This paper attempts to understand the emergence and development of the Communist Party of the Philippines through extensive reading of literature,and grasp the dissemination process of Mao Zedong thought in the Philippines and its influence on the theory and practice of the Communist Party of the Philippines.Summarises the lessons learned from the Communist Party of the Philippines,analyses the various situations currently facing the Communist Party of the Philippines,and provides a prospective outlook for the Communist Party of the Philippines explores the prospects of a socialist movement based on this.This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter mainly expounds the reason and significance of the topic selection,research content and methods,innovation of this paper,clarifies the definition of relevant concepts,and summarizes the current research situation of the Communist Party of the Philippines in domestic and foreign academic circles.The second chapter deals with the history of the Communist Party of the Philippines(CPP).The more than ninety-year history of the CPP can be divided into three phases: the founding and split of the Communist Party of the Philippines(PKP),the reconstruction and development of the Communist Party of the Philippines(CPP),and the twists and turns and dilemmas since the Soviet Union’s dramatic change.The third chapter discusses the main theories of the Communist Party of the Philippines in exploring socialist revolution,including the guiding ideology,the understanding of the nature of Philippine society,the path,the power and stage of realizing socialism,and the main tasks at present.The fourth chapter mainly combs the practice of the Philippine Communist Party in different periods.The practice of the Communist Party of the Philippines(PKP)during the period of its founding and split included opposition to colonial rule,the struggle for national independence,opposition to Japanese aggression,support for the world war against fascism,opposition to puppet governments and the establishment of democratic governments;the practice of the Communist Party of the Philippines(CPP)during the period of its reconstruction and development included the formation of the New People’s Army and the formation of the National Democratic Front as instruments of struggle;the practice during the period of twists and turns and difficulties since the Soviet revolution included the insistence on armed struggle and legal struggle in the cities and efforts to achieve the international union of the proletariat.The fifth chapter is the outlook for the Communist Party of the Philippines,which is mainly based on the previous section and analyses the various advantages and disadvantages factors currently facing the Communist Party of the Philippines,on the basis of which the outlook for the Communist Party of the Philippines explores the prospects of a socialist movement is provided,together with a summary of lessons and insights from the Communist Party of the Philippines. |
