Optimization Of The Police Incentive Mechanism Of X Prison In Jiangsu Province

Prisons are the national penal enforcement organs and the last line of defense for the judiciary,which is of great significance for maintaining national security and stability.As an important criminal enforcement force,as well as the main body of criminal punishment enforcement,the prison police undertake the important responsibility of educating criminals and reforming criminals through labor,and play an indispensable role in the management of criminals’ lives,scoring assessment,and commutation and parole.How to effectively motivate police officers to start businesses and maximize the sense of responsibility and honor of prison police has become the focus of scholars’ attention in recent years.As an important regulatory unit in the northern part of Jiangsu Province,the effective operation of X Prison in Jiangsu Province is of great significance for maintaining local security and stability.However,there are typical problems in the police incentive mechanism of X Prison in Jiangsu Province,such as unclear goal setting,single reward methods,performance evaluation biased towards incentive methods,and lagging training and cultural construction.Therefore,the author selected typical problems in the police incentive mechanism of X Prison in Jiangsu Province for research,attempting to provide reference significance for improving the police incentive mechanism of X Prison in Jiangsu Province.This paper takes the police group of X prison in Jiangsu Province as the research object,using literature research,case research method,and interview methods.In terms of goal setting and personnel management,X Prison in Jiangsu Province has proposed the goal of "more effective party and police management";In terms of managing security,the goal of "more refined security governance" has been proposed;In terms of maintaining order,the goal of "improving quality and efficiency more prominently" has been proposed;In terms of collaboration and cooperation,the goal of "more standardized law enforcement management" has been proposed.In terms of rewards,measures have been taken such as welfare incentives,job promotion incentives,merit selection incentives,wartime commendation incentives,and retirement ceremony incentives.In terms of training and cultural construction,we encourage police officers to start businesses by organizing them to apply for on-the-job graduate students and collaborating with prestigious schools.Combining data and cases,it is revealed that the goal setting of the incentive mechanism for X prison police in Jiangsu Province is unclear,and individual police goals are not included in the overall goals;The reward method is single,the material incentive effect is weakened,and the promotion channel is narrow;Performance evaluation tends to place a heavy emphasis on incentive methods,with a single assessment method;Training and cultural construction are lagging behind,personalized training needs are not considered,training practicality is not strong,and there is a lack of coordination and coordination.Deep research has shown that the reasons for the problem of the incentive mechanism for X prison police in Jiangsu Province are multifaceted.Firstly,there is a lack of differentiated target design;Secondly,insufficient motivation for innovative thinking;Thirdly,the weight of grid management has increased;The fourth is to ignore the demand for personalized training.By analyzing the reasons,further propose countermeasures to improve the incentive mechanism for X prison police in Jiangsu Province.Firstly,strengthen top-level design;Secondly,diversified incentive measures;Thirdly,strengthen the efforts of humanistic care;The fourth is to strengthen the construction of police culture.The above four countermeasures will help enrich and improve the incentive mechanism for X prison police in Jiangsu Province,and provide reference for other prison police incentive mechanisms.
