| The development of contemporary China has reached an unprecedented degree in both breadth and depth.Such achievements are based on two successive institutional changes in China in the second half of the 20 th century.First,to establish a fundamental change in the socialist system through revolution;Second, promote the gradual changes of the continuous improvement and development of the socialist system through reform.A series of institutional reforms, such as China’s economic structural reform and political structural reform, are essentially a series of institutional innovations and changes, constantly promoting the self-improvement and development of the socialist system.Based on the Marxist institutional change, this paper discusses China’s economic system reform(1978-1992),mainly discussing:First, what principles did China’s economic structural reform(1978-1992)follow within the framework of Marxist institutional change, and thus answer why China’s economic structural reform was carried out within the framework of the socialist system. The fundamental reason why China’s economic structural reform is regarded as a reform within the framework of the socialist system lies in the fact that the reform has always adhered to and developed socialism with Chinese characteristics, adhered to public ownership as the main body, insisted on achieving common prosperity as the ultimate goal, and adhered to the leadership of the Communist Party of China.Based on this,China’s economic structural reform has not departed from the framework of the socialist system, and can be discussed through the Marxist institutional change.Second, within the framework of Marxist institutional change, how was China’s economic structural reform(1978-1992)carried out and what kind of practice approach was embodied.Taking the power-driven-subject-realization approach as the analysis framework, this paper comprehensively examines the historical practice of China’s economic structural reform from 1978 to 1992.Driven by the practical requirements of liberating and developing productive forces, meeting the practical needs of the interests of the people, ideological emancipation, theoretical exploration and experience learning, the Communist Party of China has led the Chinese people to gradually explore reform. After the reform practice from 1978 to 1992,the traditional planned economic system was significantly loosened and start the innovation transition. On the one hand,it has laid the institutional foundation for the establishment and development of the socialist market economic system. On the other hand,it has brought positive effects to China’s economic and social development, promoted the initiation and promotion of other reforms, and promoted the further development of the superiority of the socialist system.Third, according to the evaluation scale of Marxist institutional change, that is,the scale of human development, the effectiveness of China’s economic structural reform(1978-1992)is measured.Based on the specific historical background, taking the changes in the material conditions of people’s lives and the mobilization of people’s enthusiasm and creativity as specific indicators, this paper explores the positive effects of China’s economic structural reform(1978-1992)on people’s development and social development.Through the above discussion, the practical implications of socialist reform are presented through the exploration of China’s economic structural reform(1978-1992):taking the reform of irrational institutional mechanisms as the way, especially economic structural reform as the primary focus of reform, changing a series of links and aspects in production relations and superstructures that do not adapt to the development of productive forces, and realizing the continuous improvement and development of the socialist system, this process has promoted people’s development. |
