Foreign Strategy Of Tajikistan And Tajikistan-China Relations

Located on the Eurasian strategic axis,the five countries of Central Asia are one of the regions with the strongest geopolitical and strategic importance in the world and play an extremely crucial strategic role.Tajikistan is located at the junction of four regions,with a unique geographical position.Since independence,Tajikistan’s foreign strategy has always been directed to one area that the government pays great attention to.Tajikistan,as a relatively newly established country and a small area,needs to establish good diplomatic relations with neighboring countries in order to achieve better development.With the change of time,the world order has undergone tremendous changes,the process of globalization is developing day by day,which puts forward ever higher demands on the foreign strategy of Tajikistan to stabilize its status and influence in the world.China is one an important strategic partner of Tajikistan.Considering friendly relations with China as a priority goal of its foreign policy strategy,laying a solid foundation for the sustainable development of bilateral relations.In recent years,China has taken a more pragmatic stance in developing neighborly relations.And this caused Tajikistan to become aware of the political opportunities related to the “Belt and Road Initiative” and of the importance of having good relations with China.At the same time,Tajik-Chinese relations,as a model of cultural dialogue,are closely related to ensuring peace and stability on the Eurasian continent,and has great importance for the harmonious development of international relations and preventing the spread of conflicts.However,Tajikistan,as an independent country in Central Asia,needs to get more attention in the World stage.And need to mention that there is not enough literary studies about it either.Unfortunately,the relevant researches on the abovemantions are not enough to understand the foreign strategy of Tajikistan,to summarize the history and current state of Tajik-Chinese cooperation,to summarize the experience and results of cooperation between the two countries in the field of politics,economics,culture and military security.In accordance with geopolitical theory,Tajik-Chinese relations and the factors influencing them are studied,and the opportunities and challenges of Tajik-Chinese relations are systematically analyzed in combination with the latest data and information,economic relations between the two countries,strengthening military security cooperation,and building a bridge for cultural communication between the two countries,offers for the development of cooperation in the field of economics,politics,security and culture and the strengthening of strategic exchanges between Tajikistan and China.Effective promotion of peaceful coexistence and prosperous development of the two countries is of practical importance.At the same time,at the academic level,it enriches research categories and data on countries and international relations,laying the foundation for following researches to conduct relevant research on Tajikistan.
