| Transportation is the key to rejuvenating the country and the foundation of a strong country.The 19 th and 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China have emphasized the importance of building a strong transportation country.To build a strong transportation country,we must pay attention to the real traffic problems and solve the problems actively.At present,the contradiction between the limited road traffic resources and the growing travel demand is prominent,and the problem of urban road congestion is serious.Traffic congestion is not a trivial matter,which is a matter of the quality of residents ’ travel,but also a constraint on the construction of a strong transportation country.The problem of urban traffic congestion has become a serious public management proposition.As the micro subject of traffic travel,the commuting mode of urban residents has an important impact on the current situation of urban traffic.The government should pay attention to the guidance of residents’ commuting mode.When the travel demand is constant,one person and one car will inevitably lead to an increase in road vehicle traffic and increased congestion.Therefore,it is urgent to control the traffic volume of motor vehicles during the peak period,increase the passenger capacity of private cars,and encourage residents to participate in carpooling for a long time.Starting from the main body of travel,this study sets up the scenario of cross-city commuting,studies the long-term willingness of urban residents to commute and its influencing factors,and guides and encourages more urban residents to actively adopt this commuting mode,which is of great significance to alleviate the contradiction between supply and demand of current traffic resources,and is a powerful measure to solve the problem of traffic congestion management.First of all,on the basis of reviewing the literature at home and abroad,this study analyzes the concepts and theories involved in the research,and introduces the current traffic situation in the research area.Secondly,based on the theory of planned behavior and perceived value,the interview outline is designed and the interviewees are interviewed in depth.The six influencing factors of perceived usefulness,perceived pleasure,perceived risk,policy,subjective norm and facility are selected,and the socio-demographic variables are added as explanatory variables,and the explanatory variables are long-term carpooling willingness.The theoretical model analysis framework of long-term carpooling willingness affecting urban residents’ commuting is constructed.According to the research model and related literature,the scale item design questionnaire was developed and the questionnaire was issued.Thirdly,this study takes two adjacent cities as a sample,and selects the cross-city commuters who work and live in the two places as samples.The questionnaire survey data of311 cross-city commuters in Xi ’an and Xianyang were collected.Descriptive statistics,regression analysis and difference test were used to explore and analyze the long-term willingness of urban residents to commute and its influencing factors,and effective government guidance strategies were proposed based on the research results.The results of the study show that: first,the long-term willingness of cross-city commuters to share is moderately high,and there is room for improvement.Second,perceived usefulness has the most significant impact on long-term carpooling willingness,which reflects that urban residents’ perception of the benefits of long-term carpooling will affect their choice of long-term carpooling commuting.Perceived pleasure,policy,subjective norm and facility have a significant positive impact on long-term carpooling intention.Of course,residents also have concerns when choosing long-term shared commuting,believing that there are certain risks,and the perceived risk variable has a negative and significant impact on residents ’ willingness to commute for a long time.Among the demographic variables,gender,occupation and monthly income also have significant differences in the long-term willingness of urban residents to commute.Finally,based on the results of empirical research,this paper puts forward the strategy of government guiding and encouraging residents to ride in an orderly way,in order to guide and call for more self-driving commuters to choose long-term commuting mode,and provide valuable reference and support for the government to deal with urban traffic congestion problems. |
