Research On The Path Of Cultivating Farmers’ Public Spirit In The Process Of Rural Construction

Farmers are the main body of rural construction in the new era,the fundamental force to promote rural construction to continuously achieve new results,and their main ability is the key factor affecting rural construction.However,as the main body of rural construction,the current situation of farmers playing the main role is not optimistic,and one of the very important reasons is the lack of public spirit of farmers.The peasant public spirit refers to the public spirit expressed by taking farmers as a specific group and caring for rural public affairs and farmers’ public interests.In the process of rural construction,it is mainly manifested in caring for others and dedicating to the collective,actively participating in village public affairs,having the courage to assume the public responsibilities and obligations of the village,and caring for the interests of the village community.The public spirit of farmers is conducive to enhancing the subjective position of farmers in the process of rural construction,promoting the smooth progress of rural construction,and is also an important guarantee for the sustainable development of rural construction.Therefore,the cultivation of farmers’ public spirit is not only to meet the needs of the development and progress of the times,but also to promote the strategy of rural revitalization and the implementation of rural construction actions.On the basis of drawing on the existing achievements,this paper deconstructs the connotation of farmers’ public spirit from four dimensions: altruism,democratic spirit,responsibility awareness and cooperation spirit,and constructs a theoretical research framework on this basis.Taking Z Village,Huangpi District,Hubei Province as an example,the questionnaire design was carried out from the four dimensions of farmers’ public spirit,and the observation variables of farmers’ public spirit were constructed,and on this basis,questionnaire research and field interviews were carried out to descriptively evaluate the public mental status of farmers in the process of rural construction.The study shows that the insufficient public spirit of farmers in village Z is manifested in the spirit of altruism to be improved,the spirit of democracy still needs to be strengthened,the awareness of public responsibility is weak,and the spirit of cooperation has not appeared.By analyzing the causes of the lack of peasant public spirit in the process of rural construction,this paper puts forward the cultivation path of peasant public spirit in the process of rural construction from four aspects: concept awareness,grassroots democratic politics,system construction and farmers’ cooperative organization.
