In questioned document examination,a document on the formation of the various parts of the sequence of inspection are: the same pigments handwriting sequence of the intersecting lines,writing handwriting strokes with the print document strokes sequence of the intersecting lines and the order of ink formation at the intersection of seals and characters.The past and the present,many document examiners focus on the study of the order of ink formation at the intersection of seals and characters,but with the rapid development of technology,print documents are increasingly widely used in daily working life,the printing handwriting and writing handwriting formation sequence of research has also attracted the attention of experts and scholars.At present,some scholars in our country have conducted experiments to determine the order of laser printing handwriting and writing handwriting.However,in addition to laser printers,inkjet printers also have a large market share,but there is still a lack of experimental exploration in this respect in our country.Therefore,in order to further improve the research in the field of determining the sequence of printed handwriting and written handwriting,this paper selects the cross-timing problem of ink-jet printed handwriting and written handwriting to carry out exploration experiments.There are two main research methods used in this paper.Firstly,a conventional test method for the identification of instruments was chosen: the microscopic test.The non-destructive and rapid inspection advantages of microscopy have been widely used in the field of document examination.In this experiment,a material microscope was selected to observe the intersection of inkjet print and writing using an LED light source,and to examine the microscopic phenological characteristics of the writing strokes in ink at different time sequences.It was found that it was possible to use the material microscope to determine the timing of the intersection of inkjet print handwriting with the writing handwriting of the pens,neutral pens,water-based pens,ballpoint pens,markers and erasable pens selected for this experiment.As the conventional microscopic examination method involves the subjective naked eye of the connoisseur to observe the apparent characteristics of the writing pen ink,and also requires comparative observation of the apparent characteristics of the same pen at different chronologies before the chronology can be judged.In order to get a more accurate conclusion and confirm it with the results of microscope inspection,DESI-MSI mass spectrometry imaging technology was tried for the first time in this experiment,which has been used in medicine and biology,and is now also used to determine the chronology of vermilion ink in document examination.As the cross-timing problem studied in this paper is similar to vermilion ink timing,both need to determine the sequence of formation by judging the surface material of the cross section,therefore,on the basis of some theoretical support,an innovative research using DESI-MSI is carried out.The first part is an overview of inkjet print and writing handwriting inspection,including the working principles and classification of inkjet printers,the common types of writing instruments and the main components of writing inks,and the theory and methods of identifying the temporal sequence of inkjet print and writing handwriting crosses.The second part focuses on the study of the cross-timing of inkjet printing and writing using conventional microscopic examination,including the experimental principles,experimental design,experimental procedures,and the results of microscopic observation and analysis.The third section explores the use of DESI-MSI mass spectrometric imaging.The principles of DESI-MSI mass spectrometric imaging are explained in detail,and the experimental procedures and analysis of the results of the experiments using DESI-MSI are described.The fourth section is devoted to the summary and outlook of the experiments,with a comparison and analysis of the two experimental methods,a summary of the advantages and disadvantages of each method,and an analysis of the implications and expectations for research in this field.
