Information technology is gradually expanding its influence on all fields of society,and information literacy has become one of the essential qualities of citizens in the"Internet+" Era.At the same time,with the deep integration and innovation of information technology and education,information literacy is an important quality of high-quality professional innovative teachers.However,at present,the development level of teachers’ information literacy in China still has large space for improvement.Exploring the influencing factors of teachers’ information literacy development is an important basis for formulating strategies to improve teachers’ information literacy.It has been found that principals as the main builder and manager of the school,their information literacy has an important impact on the development of teachers’information literacy.Clarifying the impact mechanism of primary and secondary school principals’ information literacy on the information literacy of teachers is conducive to clarifying the external gripper and path of improving teachers’ information literacy,and has a positive role in promoting the development level of teachers’ information literacy.Therefore,from the perspective of principals’ information literacy,this study constructs the evaluation index system of principals’ information literacy in primary and secondary schools.Based on the evaluation index system and empirical research data,this study further explores the impact mechanism of principals’ information literacy on the development of teachers’ information literacy.Finally,through the analysis of the problems of promoting the development of teachers’ information literacy by principals,and based on the influence mechanism model,this study puts forward some suggestions on the development of teachers’ information literacy by principals.The results are as follows:(1)The evaluation index system of primary and secondary school principals’information literacyBased on the requirements of information literacy in the current era and the role orientation of primary and secondary school principals in China,this study constructs the information literacy evaluation index system of primary and secondary school principals by using the methods of literature research,expert investigation method and subjective weighting method.The index system is composed of five first level indicators,14 second level indicators and 35 third level indicators,which can accurately and comprehensively measure the development level of primary and secondary school principals’ information literacy.The five first level indicators are information awareness,information knowledge and skills,information application,information ethics and security,and sustainable development.(2)The influence mechanism of primary and secondary school principals’information literacy on teachers’ information literacyBased on the above index system,through in-depth analysis of relevant research literature,this study uses the methods of literature research,empirical research and mathematical statistics to construct and verify the influence mechanism model of principal’s information literacy on the development of teachers’ information literacy.The influence mechanism model shows that the five dimensions of primary and secondary school principals’information literacy,namely,information awareness,information knowledge and skills,information application,information ethics and security,and sustainable development,all can have a direct impact on the development of teachers’ information literacy,and the dimensions of information application and sustainable development of principals also play an intermediary role on the development of teachers’ information literacy.(3)Problems and suggestions of promoting teachers’ information literacy development with principalsBased on the empirical data of information literacy assessment of principals,this study aims to understand the current situation of principals’ information literacy.Based on the current situation of the development of principals’ information literacy and the above-mentioned influence mechanism,this study analyzes the problems of promoting the development of teachers’ information literacy from the perspective of principals’information literacy,and puts forward specific strategies for promoting the development of teachers’ information literacy by principals.The suggestions are as follow:strengthen policy interpretation and expert guidance to help principals improve their planning and management ability;organize innovative training and case observation to help improve the principal’s teaching optimization ability;carry out special training and strengthen awareness to help principals improve their ability of information communication and exchange;attach importance to motivation stimulation and practical support to help principals enhance information management and teaching knowledge;carry out propaganda education and method of learning to help principals enhance their awareness of information discrimination.The main innovations of this study are reflected in the following two aspects.On the one hand,it constructs the evaluation index system of primary and secondary school principals’ information literacy,which provides a theoretical basis for the scientific practice of principals’ information literacy evaluation.On the other hand,this study focuses on the influence of principals on teachers,explores the influence mechanism of primary and secondary school principals’ information literacy on the development of teachers’ information literacy,expands the analysis perspective of influencing factors of teachers’ information literacy,enriches the ideas and paths of improving teachers’information literacy,and provides the basis for promoting the development of teachers’information literacy by principals.Although this study has achieved some results,there are still some deficiencies.First,the information literacy evaluation index system of primary and secondary school principals constructed in this study is not detailed enough.In the follow-up research,the index system will be continuously make it as comprehensive and accurate as possible to reflect the development level of principals’ information literacy.In addition,the research sample coverage area is limited.In the future,we will expand the scope of the research,and rely on more abundant data to make a more in-depth analysis of the relationship between the information literacy of principals and teachers. |
