| At the present stage,China has completed the arduous task of eliminating absolute poverty and solved regional overall poverty.However,it does not mean the end of poverty,and China’s rural poverty alleviation and development has embarked on a new journey.The Fourth Plenary Session of the 19 th CPC Central Committee firstly proposed that our country should consolidate achievements in poverty alleviation and establish a long-term mechanism for addressing relative poverty.The 14 th Five-Year Plan for Economic and Social Development and Long-Range Objectives through the Year 2035 also laid out comprehensive plans and arrangements for the next step in addressing relative poverty and effectively linking the achievements of poverty alleviation with rural revitalization.It can be seen that the focus of rural poverty alleviation and development in China has shifted from eliminating absolute poverty to solving relative poverty.In the face of the new rural poverty governance pattern with relative poverty as the core,continuing education for adults as the object of education plays a decisive and irreplaceable role in solving relative poverty of farmers lifted out of poverty.However,it is urgent to strengthen the theoretical research and practical exploration on solving relative poverty by continuing education,especially the relative poverty of farmers lifted out of poverty.Therefore,it is need to summarize the successful experience of continuing education in solving relative poverty of farmers lifted out of poverty,construct the mechanism of continuing education in solving relative poverty of farmers lifted out of poverty,and put forward the practical path with strong pertinence,feasibility and innovation.It will help farmers lifted out of poverty achieve sustainable development and promote the revitalization of rural areas with the empowerment of continuing education.This study selected 10 farmers lifted out of poverty in three key areas of poverty alleviation and development in Shandong,Anhui,and Guizhou as the major research objects,using interviews and observations to collect empirical data on farmers who have been lifted out of relative poverty through continuing education.At the same time,based on multidimensional poverty theory and relative poverty identification criteria,and sorting out and analyzing the interview texts,it is found that the mechanism of continuing education to break the relative poverty of farmers lifted out of poverty is as follows.Firstly,continuing education relies on traditional classroom teaching,on-site training and online learning to promote continuous income increase and break the economic relative poverty of farmers lifted out of poverty.Secondly,continuing education through disease prevention science,mental health guidance and cultural propaganda and education to encourage farmers lifted out of poverty “cure not ill”values,making farmers lifted out of poverty forming a confident and optimistic spirit and leading farmers lifted out of poverty using healthy and civilized lifestyle to improve health literacy,breaks out of farmers lifted out of poverty healthy relative poverty.Thirdly,continuing education promotes harmonious development to break the social relative poverty of farmers lifted out of poverty,by means of cooperation and mutual assistance behavior,behavior standard education and civic consciousness cultivation to expand of interpersonal relationship network,promote social integration and enhance political participation.In order to effectively promote the development of continuing education to solve relative poverty of farmers lifted out of poverty,it is necessary to strive to uphold the appropriate concept of continuing education in the future,and form a “big continuing education concept” of“synergy”,“inclusiveness” and “sustainability”,and protect the educational rights and interests of farmers lifted out of poverty.Then,it is need to develop diverse continuing education content,and accurately match the educational needs of farmers lifted out of poverty,by carrying out digital literacy training actions,formulating financial literacy training programs,and increasing ecological literacy training.Lastly,it should adopt a characteristic continuing education method,including focusing on the advantages of “order-based” training to stabilize employment,based on the educational practice field of “fixed classroom + N”,and relying on “party building +education” to carry out local education activities,and strive to improve the education effect of farmers lifted out of poverty. |
