Educational tourism is an educational activity carried out outside the school,with the education department and school as the main body of the plan and organization,which deeply integrates research-based learning and travel experience to cultivate students’ core literacy and improve their overall quality.The government has promulgated a number of policies to promote the development of educational tours,and many schools have carried out relevant practices and achieved certain results.However,the current educational tours in the middle and senior grades of primary schools have problems such as serious formalism,blind pursuit of market interests,and lack of education.There are also problems such as insufficient scientific nature and insufficient survey dimensions in related research.Therefore,through questionnaires and interviews,this research deeply investigates the true state of the educational tours in middle and senior grades of three primary schools in Jinan,analyzes their typical problems and causes,and puts forward corresponding strategies for reference.This research is mainly divided into the following four parts:Firstly,the research design and process are briefly described,followed by a detailed discussion of the main theoretical basis of educational tourism: Taylor’s principle,Learning theory of Constructivism,Naturalistic educational theory,and Experiential learning.Secondly,analyzes the survey results of the current situation of the educational tours in the middle and senior grades of primary schools from the following four dimensions: each subject’s perception of the educational tours,the design and preparation before the educational tours,the organization and development of the educational tours and the summary and evaluation after the educational tours.The above four dimensions include the orientation,value,theme,goal,student participation and learning,content and form of evaluation and other perspectives of the educational tours.Thirdly,reveals the typical problems of the current educational tours in middle and senior grades of primary schools from four aspects: misunderstandings in the cognition of the participants of the educational tours,inadequate design and preparation before the educational tours,incomplete organization and development during the educational tours,and imperfect summary and evaluation after the educational tours.And then analyzes the reasons behind them: the ideas and concepts of the participation need to be updated,the leading role of the schools and the dominant position of the students need to be improved,the allocation of teachers needs to be improved and so on.Fourthly,countermeasures and suggestions are proposed to solve the current problems of the educational tours in middle and senior grades of primary schools from four aspects: updating the ideology of the educational tours’ participation,ensuring the leading role of schools and the dominant position of students in the educational tours,improving the allocation of the teachers in the educational tours and the guidance and guarantees related to the educational tours to provide reference for the organization and development of the primary schools’ educational tours in the future.
