Since the "high school chemistry curriculum standards" put forward the core chemical literacy of"model cognition",model teaching has played a key role in daily teaching.The use of modeling in teaching can help students construct a complete knowledge system,extract the essential content of the problem,clarify the problem-solving idea,and improve the problem-solving ability.Aiming at the low level of students’ classroom participation and low level of problem solving in problem teaching,combined with the advantages of model teaching,it is proposed to guide students to use cognitive model,image model,semantic model and problem-solving thinking model according to different question types in problem teaching.Construction and application research aims to solve many problems existing in the teaching of exercises and improve students’ problem-solving ability.By sorting out relevant domestic and foreign literature,analyze the achievements and deficiencies of problem teaching and model and model construction,determine the research purpose and research theme,The related concepts are defined,and constructivist learning theory,problem solving theory and meaningful learning theory are selected as the theoretical basis of this research.In the early stage,a questionnaire and statistical analysis were conducted for all the chemistry students in the second grade of the high school in the teaching school,and interviewed with individual students and teacher based on the results of the questionnaire,so as to understand the current situation of model construction and application in the practice school’s practice teaching,and provide a reference for the thesis.On the basis of this research,the teaching principles and teaching links of model construction and application in problem teaching are put forward.A variety of typical exercises are selected for the different types of"Primary Battery","Chemical Power Supply",and "Electrolytic Cell" in Chapter 4 of "Chemical Reaction and Electric Energy" in the Selective Compulsory Course of the New People’s Education Edition,and a certain teaching situation is created in the exercise teaching.After the teacher presents the exercises,he guides the students to express the problem,construct the model through independent thinking and group discussion,and then perfect the model in the process of analyzing the model,and finally apply the constructed model when the teacher presents the new problem situation exercises.The study selected two high school sophomore classes with the same level of chemistry in a middle school in Jiangshan City,Zhejiang Province as the control class and the experimental class.The practical results of the introduction of model construction and application in exercise teaching were verified by comparing the changes of students’ chemistry scores before and after the experiment and the analysis of students’ thinking process of exercises.The research results show that the teaching principles put forward for model construction and application in the practice teaching are in line with the teaching practice,and the designed teaching links can reasonably complete the teaching tasks and achieve the teaching goals.Model construction and application in problem teaching can allow students to actively participate in the process of problem teaching,improve students’ interest in learning chemistry,and effectively overcome the shortcomings of traditional problem teaching mode.In addition,model construction and application in problem teaching can help students integrate the knowledge system,clarify the problem-solving ideas,master the scientific method,and effectively improve the students’ chemistry performance and problem-solving ability.
