Abstract/Summary:
In recent years, with the rapid development of artificial intelligence, big data, computer vision,Internet of Things and other technologies, intelligent face recognition technology has been applied in the fields of urban security, video surveillance, mobile payment and attendance certification, and has been widely used in many scenarios.Shine brightly, and constantly excavate a series of new application scenarios to improve the quality and efficiency of economic and social development, empowerment of smart cities and the convenience of people’s daily life.At the same time, the issues of privacy, security and social risks involved in the application of face recognition technology are increasingly emerging, and technological development is facing more and more challenges. The research on the factors affecting the use of face recognition can not only promote the continuous development of face recognition technology itself, but also help to promote its safe and efficient application and commercialization. This research combines theoretical research and empirical analysis to analyze the technical advantages of face recognition and its existing risks.Based on the integrated technology acceptance model, from the perspective of risk cognition theory, through interviews to further understand the impact of face recognition on the willingness to use and use behavior factors, established a hypothetical model of face recognition use behavior, and explored the impact of variables such as privacy concerns, media publicity, scientific literacy, trust, risk perception, performance expectations, effort expectations, social influence, and facilitation factors on face recognition. The influence of the use behavior;to explore whether there is a significant difference in the use behavior of face recognition by control variables such as gender and age through analysis of variance, and at the same time,to test the mediating effect of risk cognition and willingness to use under the control of variables such as gender and age; Finally, the research hypothesis is verified according to the structural equation model path analysis. The empirical research results show that: privacy concerns and media publicity have a significant positive impact on risk perception;trust negatively affects face recognition users’ risk perception and has a significant positive impact on their willingness to use;user risk perception as trust The indirect effect on the use intention of face recognition and the use intention of the intermediate variables is smaller than the direct effect;performance expectations and social influence positively affect the use behavior of face recognition through the use intention;facilitators and use intention directly affect the use behavior of face recognition has a significant positive impact. Finally, based on empirical analysis and research conclusions, this study puts forward targeted suggestions to promote the development of face recognition:strengthen privacy protection and standardize data use;establish a social trust mechanism to reduce user risk perception;collaborate with all parties, from the government, industry and the user’s point of view,it helps the safe and efficient development of face recognition. At the same time, this study enriches the research on face recognition in the field of humanities, and has important implications for the application and development of face recognition technology.
