| Independent play is an important way for children to interact with peers,The effective resolution of peer conflict in independent games is beneficial for decentration of individuals cognition.it is also helpful for the formation of correct self-concept,and formation of good peer relationship.However,the preschool children’s peer conflict behavior has not received full attention,the potential developmental value of conflict of preschool children also not fully recognized,and the preschool children’s peer conflict behavior also lacks of proper guidance.In particular,conflicts between children in large-class are more likely to be ignored by teachers,which is not conducive to children’s physical and mental health development.it is necessary to carry out research on peer conflict behavior of large-class children in independent games.This study regarding children of one small-class,one middle-class and one large-class in a kindergarten in Zhen Jiang City as my object of observation,and it adopts observation method,case analysis method,interview method,and makes detailed records of children’s peer conflict behaviors in independent games by referring to Liu Xiaojing’s peer conflict observation and analysis framework.Then,according to the framework of observation and analysis,the coding statistics of children’s conflict behavior are carried out.Through the statistical analysis of the observation results,to find the problems existing in peer conflict of large-class children independent games,then,combing with observation records and interview records,to analysis the main factors affecting peer conflict of large class children in dependent games,and propose the targeted guidance strategies.In summary,this study mainly has the following research questions:(1)By comparing the peer conflict behaviors of three age classes,summarizing characteristics of large-class children’s peer conflict behaviors,and then finds out the problems existing in the independent play of preschool children in the large-class.(2)Analyze the main course that the occurrence of preschool children’s peer conflict behavior and the choice of resolution strategies.(3)Aiming at the main course that children’s peer conflict behavior put forward the guidance strategy to promote the effective resolution of preschool children’s peer behavior in large-class.Through the analysis of the statistical results,it is found that:(1)In terms of the causes of conflict,the social factors of conflict increase,but the behavior of conflict lacks prosocial behavior.For example,conflicts caused by game disputes are often fruitless;There are still interference and control and intentional provocation behaviors among children in large-class.(2)In terms of conflict resolution strategies,reasoned explanations is widely used,but verbal insults begin to appear;Desire to resolve conflict on their own,but in a crude and simple way;Able to maintain group rules,but there is threatening command behavior.(3)In terms of the gender of the conflict,there are more same-sex conflicts than heterosexual conflicts,male infants showing more conflict and more aggression.(4)In terms of conflict outcomes,Self-resolution of conflict is increasing,but there is blind climbdown.Study find that the main factors affecting preschool children’s peer conflict are as the following:The environment of kindergarten is not scientific;Children’s own development characteristics are different,Such as children’s temperament type social skills and other aspects;Teachers lack scientific view of children and proper ways to handle conflicts;Parents lack of proper parenting and the two-way cooperation with kindergarten.Mass media lack good environment and mislead children’s social development.Corresponding these causes,the following suggestions are put forward:Kindergartens should create a scientific environment to reduce the external factors that induce peer conflict;Teachers update their educational concepts and adopt cognitive training and role-playing methods to cultivate children’s inner ability to solve conflicts;Parents should create a warm family environment and assist teachers to solve peer conflict properly;Society should take responsibility to build an environment conducive to the social development of children. |
