With the social change,the change of China’s economic and social structure,college students’ values and thinking patterns have undergone significant changes.In recent years,in the face of learning,interpersonal communication,employment and so on various pressure and challenges,a drop in the overall level of achievement motivation of college students’ group,the goal is not clear wait for a phenomenon,and family as individuals grow and adapt to the social life of beginning,the subtle influence of family factors on college students’ intrinsic motivation and goal setting.Therefore,it is of certain theoretical and practical significance to analyze the influence of family capital on college students’ achievement motivation and goal orientation and take targeted measures to improve college students’ achievement motivation and goal level.In order to discuss the influence of family capital on achievement motivation and analyze the mediating effect of goal orientation,this paper developed a family capital questionnaire based on the achievement motivation theory of self-social orientation,goal orientation theory,ecosystem theory and family capital theory,combined with the maturity scale and relevant theoretical basis.At the same time,the maturity scale "Ego-social orientation achievement Motivation scale" and "Goal orientation scale" were used.By stratified sampling,six different levels and types of universities in nanjing,jiangsu province,with one to four year undergraduate student as investigation object,through the 951 valid questionnaire data processing and analysis,the following results:(1)The mean value of individual orientation achievement motivation is higher than that of social orientation achievement motivation.The mean score of mastery approach dimension was the highest,while performance avoidance was the lowest(2)There are significant differences in family capital,achievement motivation and goal orientation among college students of different genders,places of origin,colleges,majors and grades.(3)There is a significant correlation between the dimensions of college students’ family capital,achievement motivation and goal orientation.(4)In addition to the father’s education level,family capital has a significant impact on goal orientation and achievement motivation.(5)There is a partial mediating effect of goal orientation.Conclusion:(1)the achievement motivation orientation of college students tends to improve the motivation consciousness of self-ability;In goal orientation,college students tend to master the approach goal orientation more actively than themselves.(2)Family cultural capital factor mother’s education level has the highest correlation with achievement motivation and goal orientation,and both of them have a positive impact,which reflects that in the context of Chinese culture,mother is the main force of family education,and the higher the mother’s education level,the greater the impact on college students’ achievement motivation and goal orientation.(3)The more motivated and motivated college students are to surpass certain internally determined goals or standards,the higher their goal orientation level,the more they pay attention to the improvement of their own ability,and hope to surpass others and avoid falling behind others.(4)College students with better family economic conditions and higher social status of their parents do not care whether they lag behind others or compare with others to reflect their own abilities and win praise from others.(5)As a carrier of individual growth,family economic situation,parents’ occupation type,parent-child daily interaction and communication will subtly influence college students to have different goal orientation,tend to different goal orientation,and also have a certain impact on the orientation of college students’ achievement motivation.
